Could not imagine you having this conversation with anyone but Remy. Thank you for sharing for allowing us to see that emotions are vast and real I lost my Dad 2 year ago and I’m still grieving, it looks different 2 years later (I hope this gives you hope) but it’s a thing you’re never prepared for and can never really fully comprehend. I never lost a sibling but I lost a mother and I couldn't imagine not having my sisters or them not having me. Your also brave for being on the podcast because ik I couldn't.

I lost a close person dear to my heart and it was very heartbreaking to say the least. I cried everyday driving to work and driving back from work. Showing up at work with a smile was the hardest part because I couldn’t pretend that I was happy yet I was dying inside. It was hardest for 6 months but it got better as I started going to grief groups in my church and it was such a relief. We met once a week and I was the youngest amongst that group most of them were older people who lost their partners. However it was helpful to know I’m not going through this by myself. Meeting up with those ladies at church was the highlight of my week , it helped a lot and I think it shortened my grief period. Sending you all the love ❤

My advice to anyone in grief is to go at your own pace. You do not owe anyone an excuse for anything unless you’re intentionally doing harm to others or yourself. Calls can go unanswered, plans can be dropped on a dime, conversations can be cut off when they get too deep. I have never lost a sibling but I have lost my ex fiance and I remember feeling the exact same way. I could not schedule plans are his birthday until last year (3 years later) so please, please know that’s it’s okay. I do not know you but my heart is breaking for you. Last thing I’ll say is he knows you love him. I promise you that. It’s normal to go through the what ifs but please try to stop those thoughts if you can. He knew you loved him. I promise, I promise he did and still does.

So so sorry for your lost Shannon. Praying and wishing you and your family grace and strength during this process. It’s going to hard and each day will be different but on all of those days your brother is watching and right there with you. Take as much time as you need ❤️

Awwww Shanan 😭 I feel like you wanted to speak on this platform about your brother because this podcast is a form of therapy, talking it through, grieving. Speaking on it. I personally really like Remy on the Podcast. However for those who aren’t fond of the transition, I think it would help if it were all 4 of you ladies were present for the next few episodes. This way listeners don’t feel like it’s an entirely new podcast and want to unsubscribe. Also I love Remys knowledge, wisdom etc. BUT I can understand the listeners who are rejecting her as a host because they want to see more PERSONALITY outside of those things. All 4 of you ladies are awesome and you guys have a good thing going 🎉
