Everybody in the Navy goes through different steps to get to their ultimate destination which is a ship or shore duty. In my case I end up on a boat in Japan!

if i had any advice to anyone watching this video who's about to be stationed there, please enjoy every minute of this country and what it has to offer. dont spend all your time on base. i separated almost a year ago and ive spent every single day thinking/missing Japan. as much as the work/ship life was not easy i still enjoyed every minute being in Japan!

Just been watching all your other videos about being in Yoko. I'll be there in just a few days and I've heard so many horror stories from people who probably never even left the ship. Thanks for all the tips! I'm on the timid side about traveling and will probably be up at MWR on a weekly basis myself.

I'm back in America and I wish I could go back to the Japanese man that cut my hair lol They always take pride in their work. You get what you pay for.

just wondering is it easy to get your car to the base and how that works
@ADotJosh
@ADotJosh 8 жыл бұрын
If you have a license all you have to do is take a course. The hardest part about getting a car over there is literally getting a car over there. if you already have one, getting it shipped over. It's a drag.

+Joshua Cook appreciate it I've been trying to decide what to do with mine. I leave in less than a month for rtc
@ADotJosh
@ADotJosh 8 жыл бұрын
You should keep it just in case. If you have a car on base you'll most likely be a "taxi" to people. Which isn't bad, you get a little extra on the side. Aye, have fun man. Get ready for "Stand by to Stand by" and "Hurry up and wait". Most of your time you're going to be sitting. So get ready. Your first days your hardest. Make sure you get a lot of sleep the night and day before arriving because you're going to be up for 48 hours. Good luck man.
