@RoninKenshiro THANK YOU so VERY much,for having the"stones"to speak the truth sbout the NBAs' "golden-child"/"meal-ticket"!! Man,it was"sad"how he spent the entire WEEK,before the Eastern Finals"politicking"about the"Bad Boys"being too"rough"!! So the refs blew the whistle whenever a Piston look,even looked at him!! Mike talked about"fair-play" but he's the only guy in League history,who was allowed to "legally"TRAVEL!! Face facts:that"hop-step"was nothing more than a travelling violation!!

It's crazy to think that they used to get 50,000 plus at these games at the Silverdome back during the decade the Pistons played there

I remember these games - it took several years to get by Detroit; when the Bulls finally swept them it was the sweetest feeling I've ever had as a sports fan.

@baldheadkid Awesome stuff! Any chance you have the game from 87-88 at Chicago Stadium when Mahorn and Oakley brawled after a hard foul on Jordan? My father was at the game in the first row behind the bench and ALWAYS talks about this game. I'm shocked it isn't on KZfaq somewhere. Only thing I've ever been able to find online is the Chicago Tribune article about it. Please post this video if you have it!

Look at the play when Jordan hits the three to bring it overtime.. Look at his body position when he receives the ball; any other player, any other athlete, would, at best, manage to manufacture a desperation heave. Jordan fucking exploded off the ground on the turn and shot a three-point jump-shot, a ridiculously high fucking jump-shot, and made it, of course. Though he fouled out, on a poor call, he certainly knew, and i think the pistons knew, that he would soon be taking them down.

Dumars did the best dive in nba history to get that foul

Someone may have answered your question already. But yes, youtube has this very fight of Oakley vs Mahorn......"remembering the detroit bad boys - need 4sheed" is what you have to type in, the fight starts right away

SuperDetroit9 is right. Jordan couldn't beat the Pistons so he lobbied for the rules to be changed! Look it up! It happened! Either way great game! Type of play that is sorely lacking in today's era

Pause at 1:30 Is that a MASSIVE vertical leap or are is it just an optical illusion or something

binka,give ME some of that sh*t you been smokin'!! Lets talk about exceptional/notable performances in"big"games:Isiah( on a"bad"(near-BROKEN)ankle,hobbled up and down the court scoring a( quarter of a)HUNDRED points in ONE quarter of Game 6 of the FINALS and came a within a hairs width of pulling off the win and winning the TITLE!!!! I've NEVER seen a QUARTER of as much "heart"displayed by ANY athlete,in any sport!! Except for Kellen Winslows awesome"feats" against Miami in the playoffs!!

yeah but Magic won two huge playoff games against the Celtics during the playoffs back in the day. One where he did this sky hook, and once where he banked a 3 pointer off balance. you probly saw em. I don't tink Isiah did anything that huge, maybe in less important games.

Dumars was moving, shouldn't have been called..........good exhibition of how great of a scorer Isiah Thomas was though. Streaky I guess, but very talented. Crazy layups.

Love when Da Bulls dismantle the bad girls and the cowards walk off the court like always with NO CLASS.

why did they get rid of Sellers
@chunyipliable11 жыл бұрын
yup, the knicks gave the bulls lots of trouble during 1992 eastern conference final. Then what happened? hand checks are no longer allowed and ball has to hit rim instead of the back board for the 24 second clock to be reset. pssst..

I knew it, no disrespect to Oakley, but i knew he wouldn't go after guys that really wanted the 💨 @3:05, he ain't no enforcer, he picked and chose, cause no enforcer takes that shit.

@SuperDetroit9 2 of 2 MJwas coming to take that just like when he bitch slapped the bad girls in a sweep & ultimately the rest of that weak ass shit crumbled what do you expect would happen to cowards led by a coward when they are defeated. At least have enough balls to shake hands with the team you couldn't get to go away every year they came back & excepted their lose like real champions.Also thanks for ONE thing you got right they were (IN YOUR OWN WORDS) INVINCIBLE.

fun to see jordan b4 nba decided to make him a god, taking zilions of shots, travelling his ass off, his team getting its ass kiced hard, jordan hacking no calls, and bailout calls on drives to hoop loaded with carrying the ball

Why did Isiah have to endorse the beat down Detroit style of play? Foul if you must but its basketball not hockey. He was an all time upper echelon talent. Shame on the league for not fixing the hard drive and hard foul when the offensive players in midair.

@rob23molina Look"home-slice",I don't blame the"Bad Boys"at all,for refusing to shake hands with some whiners who conspired with League brass to"MAKE"Jordan and the Bulls into"living legends"by hampering the Pistons from playing the style of hoops,that made them the cosumate basketball TEAM that sent fear as their"forerunner"to greet "pretty-boy"ball-clubs!! "nice-guy"Jordan and Chicago being"invincible"champs was good primarily for League REVENUE!!

Big deal,he can jump!! Like 75% of the other players in the NBA!! He can ALSO"whine"like a"broad"with:"Look y'all,the Pistons play too"rough",so please call a foul on them every time they even come NEAR me,so I can(FINALLY)win a TITLE!!" "Keep in mind that it was ME,who single-handedly raised League profits by 80% before you decide NOT to"sabotage"Detroit,and make me"unhappy"playing in this league!! ANYONE could"get"5 Rings with that kind of"leverage"!!
@rob23molina14 жыл бұрын
a good but dirty cowardly team.
@LxTxSURGE12 жыл бұрын
It makes me laugh when they saY that pistons team was dirty players and now they whine about all the rules and how any little hit can get u fouled and ejected bunch off idiots they said ball was better back then .??!! So why do yoi whine about hard playing athletes these guys arent little sissy girls they are competitive and thats why they are in the nba always took a challenge and well pretty tall and wgant to be the best at basket ball
@SuperDetroit914 жыл бұрын
binka please shut up,cause the Pistons were the paragon of team play!!! If it weren't for the refs(by mandate of the NBA)"protecting"Jordan(the leagues"cash cow")they would've NEVER gotten past the"Bad Boys"!! Also Jordans famous"hop-step"is clearly just a TRAVELLING violation!! Further Jordan was the ONLY dude in league history"allowed"to block someones shot by reaching over their head!! Anybody else was whistled for:"behind the back violations!! Jordan gets NO"respect"from me!! Best player"NO!
