Volcano is like a special gift to appreciate BOSS's success. Before Kick It happened, BOSS was NCT's most popular song. Everything about BOSS is perfect. I hope Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas and Mark know that they had done a really great job. This lineup remained as one of the most iconic NCT U's lineup ever.

For those who are confused, Jaehyun was the first maknae in the Rookies “Hyung line”. The original SMRookies boys promoted or were clustered by Hyung line and Kids line, while Mark was kinda going back and forth, his home team was still the Kids line.

I felt so nostalgic when taeyong said jaehyun was the first youngest. The hyung lines practiced together and spend many of their times while training when jaehyun was very baby. Although he is mature and is now taking care of members who are younger than him, i feel like he takes a special spot in their hearts. Like they have a soft spot for him and this warms my heart.

seriously, jaehyun's face is just a bonus. his perseverance got him to this point. he was the youngest at some point as he joined sm in 2012 (which was around 9th grade/3rd year of junior high) and that just reminds us how he had to juggle school and training. taeyong (bless him for bringing up jaehyun's maknae days) said jaehyun used to accompany him training until 5am, when jaehyun actually still had classes to attend in the morning. he originally was trained to be a rapper and dancer, but ended up getting intense training as a vocalist in 2015. maybe he's always had the star quality, but my, my. just how diligent, motivated, and in love with music was jaehyun! i'm so happy that even six years later, jaehyun still proves how he always tries to perfect his craft. we're lucky for always being pampered with his amazing performances, strong but velvety, punchy vocals, artistry, with a bonus of his dorky self! jaehyun, you might not see this, but i'm so proud to be your fan. i've seen you grow, and i hope that i can always be here watching you grow into an even better artist. there's only going up from here.

NCT literally have 23 members with 14 members YOUNGER than Jaehyun and yet - Taeyong: “Are you younger than Jaehyunie? Ah, Jaehyun was the youngest at first” For Taeyong, Jaehyun shall FOREVER remain the YOUNGEST (even tho it’s been more than 4 years that Jaehyun stopped being the “youngest one”) Edit: Let’s not forget Taeyong has trained the most with Jaehyun (as mentioned in their earlier interviews). Mark too trained with them but he often had to travel to Canada and hence, Jaehyun was the YOUNGEST ❤️
