Something like Episode 2 of this H2H. Ep.1 - • Maxx M4W & SI Alpha ho...
Featuring:
▶ Stock hopup, Madbull 'red' flathopped bucking and R-hoped PDI 6.08 300 mm; Just for comparison and food for thought;
▶ Maxx M4W with the default orange M-nub, Madbull 'red' flathopped bucking & 300 mm PDI 6.05 with R-hop;
▶ Silent Industries (SI) Alpha chamber with Lambda FIVE 6.05 stainless steel barrel, G&G 'green' bucking and SI nub.
The dwell is set for 1.6 J with 0.36.
The Inferno Gen2 engine is with the SI MTW v2 red+black nozzle in both M4W and Alpha setups.The torso of the mannequin is 63 meters / 207 feet away.
The temperature was 16°C / 60 F.

Damn well the results speak for themselves the stock cnc with r-hop really shined..!!!! max wasnt too bad either but..... stock was simply too good

I also run the SI Setup and had the same unconsistant Results with the G&G Green. So I change it into a ML 60 Macaron. Now I have simular Results like your M4w Setup👍🏻

I have best results with Alpha when I use the Maple Leaf combo - Crazy Jet + Hot Shot bucking + Omega nub.

The stock setup did well, especially with that wind it was dealing with.

Yes. It works really well with r-hoped PDI 6.08.

Awesome video. I am trying to improve the performance of my MTW and bought the SI v2 nozzle and the SI alpha hopup. Haven't been getting good results with the G&G green and a prometheus 6.03 barrel, so kind of disappointed right now, but I'll wait a bit more until the bucking has had more shots through it. Do you think that the SI v2 nozzle is better than the Wolverine original nozzle?

With v2 SI nozzle I have 0.13 J loss with Alpha compared to M4W. Other than that I can't see any measurable difference between stock nozzle and SI v2 nozzle.

Was it a selfmade R-Hop patch? Or did you bought one from someone? thats absolutely crazy with the stock cnc unit. also did you tried the concave aluminium nub on the m4w? Should be better in comparison to a flat nub.

Yes, selfmade R-hop patches in both barrels. The one in the stock hopup is a 8 year old silicone IR-hop patch. The one in M4W is made from EPDM rubber hose. The hard concave aluminum nub doesn't work good at all with my R-hops. In all my R-hop setups the soft M-nub gives me the best results compared to all other options that are available on the market.

The 2nd gen Forged comes with a CNC aluminum version of the plastic hopup.

My setup Silent Industries MTW Alpha hop-up chamber + nozzle G&G COLD RESISTANT HOP UP RUBBER - GREEN 6.04 MTW 14.5″ Stainless Steel Hybrid Barrel 380mm but I'm not satisfied with the accuracy, maybe you could advise me how to improve it 2.8j 0.45bbs

The easiest way is to try flathoped Madbull red with SI flat nub. The best way is R-hop.

Definitely the R-hop. 6.08 helps but it's not significantly better than 6.05.

Yes. I tried it. It's just as good as the SI red-black v2. They both are with the same length.

I use a 6.08mm PDI (380mm), the SI camber with Snipetor 65 R hop patch, regular flathop bucking and the SI black nub. My 0.4 bbs overhop very quick and i have no consistet results. Any idea what to change??

The patch should not protrudes in the barrel with hop turned off. When you drop a bb in front of the barrel it should stop in the bucking lips, not in the patch. The nub is taller than needed. Try shorter or softer nub. Check if the tension ring doesn't provide too much bucking lips resistance for bb. You should be able to push the bb through the lips with very little force applied. Do you have consistent FPS with hopup turned on?

@@NikolayDimitrovFisher hey thanks for the tips, you're right I have to press very hard so that the bb comes through the feeding lips. Will have to try another ring. and do you have a recommendation for a nub? I will check the fps later.😇

@@isthisthetop_4150 when i tested Alpha with R-hop i had good results with its softer blue extended nub. Not so good as with M-nub but better than anything else i tried.

@@isthisthetop_4150 Airtech M-nub is with trolley for Maxx ME Pro/Sport. You can use the nub only with modified SI Alpha trolley.

@@RedNeckActual yes, i tried it but with no success - lots o flyers, bad accuracy. The soft nub is much more effective.

Hello, does the SI MTW v2 red+black nozzle really make a significant difference or not that much?

i can't say for sure because in my gun (1st gen billet lower + 1st gen forged upper) i have a ~0.15 J loss with SI v2 nozzle compared to SI v1 or stock 1st gen nozzle. Having in mind that SI v2 red-black nozzle have the same dimensions as the white delrin nozzle of the current MTW Inferno I would say that there's no difference in performance between them.

@raph-fpv6044 good luck and don't give up :)! You only need 6 mm nub if you have 6+ mm patch or use 0.40+ g bbs with more than 1.7 j. Otherwise the 4 mm M-nub is more than enough.
