Does this mean we ought to refrain to remind each other to be "extra careful" because it won't deter predators from abusing us? This is warfare; we must remain on high alert and concentrate on survival strategies while hope that conversations may result in males changing their behavior and mentality one day. I don't think bucks need to drop their guard and stop training on their escape strategies because roaring beasts will capture them anyway. You don't give up a healthy lifestyle because you're going to die eventually. I understand that these are awful analogies because death is unavoidable and the ecology permits animals to feed on one another, whereas the matter at hand is the most unnatural course in humans.

If this was a story about someone who got injured in a hijacking, would your 1st comment be “We should be careful when driving in town” or “Why did they buy a GTI” or “Vele driving at night is dangerous” OR Were you going to discourage the crime, call for justice to prevail and for the healing of the victim before giving hijack prevention tips?
