The most therapeutic channel on YT. Lovely guy. Takes soooo much patience to do something like that. Love it. I used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $34 million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.

I make my living restoring and plating jewelry in general. It is nice to see someone doing it so nicely, congratulations! If I may give you and tip... When plating, you can get a more consistent and well distributed deposition if you submerge completely the piece instead of keeping it right on the surface line. And shake a little bit more, the less bubbles, more the shinnyness. Use a thin copper wire to hold the piece. Sorry if I'm saying everything you already know but I like to share my humble knowledge with people that do what I do and, more importantly, people who like doing it :)

I have taken in this week a trinity of broken winged watches, a brand new La Banus quite exotic chrono where the canteen crown is loose and had snapped the stem as it was flopping about like a good 'un, a beautiful pristine Soviet Sekonda on its original but broken expanding bracelet and learned a new skill in fixing expanders tonite and the final was a Slava tank quartz which I paid to be serviced and turned up missing its battery clamp screw and cannot find the screw anywhere inside the movement so scratching my head on that one but I got plenty spares and a simple fix.

to remove the worn pushertubes you maybe can make your own tool, ( mini vise ) piece of tube.. make a slit in the tube and a thread outside.. with a screw outside you can adjust the Ø of the tube by turning up the pressure.. same principle in used in a drawing-compass to hold the needle & pencil.
