Lower Kv & higher voltage is always more efficient as we found out a long time ago with RC 3D Helicopters that I fly. Those cars are so gorgeous! You're a great designer and builder of these insanely fast cars. I really enjoy watching you take them to the extreme.

Amazing looking cars!!! That was a bad wreck. But at least that man was standing by those poles and didn't end up looking like the car did at the end. 💯💯 Cars are replaceable. People aren't. That was a close one.

the fastest rc I have driven thus far was just at 63mph and I crashed and it cost me about 120$ to fix everything and I was crushed I can't imagine this level. I'm more afraid controlling an rc at high speed then driving a motorcycle at 120 mph

Careful with the 3d printed parts. they might melt if they're in contact with the motor.
@NathanStorer-RC2 жыл бұрын
Oh man, looks like you learned a couple expensive lessons! Not having much experience with different KV setups myself, I would assume higher KV+smaller pinion = better throttle control. Lower KV+larger pinion = less wear on the pinion as there's more surface area to spread out the wear, possibly better acceleration as the motor doesn't have so much RPM to spin up to, and less heat.

Which setup did you like best for speed, high kv, or low kv??? Thanks it's hard for me to afford to go both ways. I'm interested to know which setup handles gearing the best. I think it will be close, but I think low kv will have a slight advantage.
@RazShifrin2 жыл бұрын
Low kv:)
@keithbranch77182 жыл бұрын
So the longer the track you would still go lower Kv or do you prefer it either long or short..I figure lower Kv was for faster acceleration...I just want to know your take on it...So I know what motor will best suit me.
