I think not being able to compete in the Festival de Cannes is not really a big thing as most of those movies are not geared towards the general public and therefore do not bring in as much revenue.

hey, great videos ! I don’t know if you do this in your course, but it would be cool if you did a set of videos focused around sets of disruptors in specific areas of the business model canvas and go in a bit more depth on how they did it, how their rivals responded (if at all) and the positive knock on effect that business model innovation had.

I dont know how to search for businesses that have been recently successful for genius stunts like netflix or not even as big like, maybe something that makes decent money like 20k a month, the how and etc on getting there so maybe i can cook the same recipe for success in a different way?

Thanks a lot! I know I'm not regular, but I try to create videos for KZfaq when I can. It's just that I have too much others stuff around and particularly content for my courses on Udemy, that's why I don't have enough time to post regularly here

Mate - It will be also helpful if you can create contents on small business models. I think the internet is over flooded with the success stories of Big businesses which doesn't really help majority of working population. If you take India for example -- more than 90% of people and the countries GDP is dependent upon the small businesses. Hence, the upcoming entrepreneurs should focus more on creating Micro Small and Medium Enterprises to prosper one's own society and country. I personally hate Big fishes as they are the one's that kill smaller fishes and destroys NextGen peoples. Btw, thank you so much for these amazing contents. Much appreciated. Respect from India.

having users binge watching tv shows is whats going to ruin the streaming business, they will never keep up with that demand.

Great breakdown of their model, thanks. But how does Netflix turn a profit? For the amount of money they spend on content creation, mere subscription do not scratch the surface of cost
@lovelivelaugh4542

netflix dont make a profit and they haven't ever made profit....the part that is truly messed up is the fact they allow people to binge watch shows that's what going to be their downfall.. streaming service in general...they will never keep up with demand of users....its crazy how they create a show in a year, just for users to binge in 2 days. It will never work...to much money spent on content.

@@lovelivelaugh4542 when i wait for a new season i dont turn of netflix and then wait for it to release to come back i stay in the midtime waiting therefore they ussually dont lose these money unless the series is already completed
@lovelivelaugh4542
@lovelivelaugh4542 2 жыл бұрын
@@vaggod123sckmydck3 it's better for them to release a new episode week by week, just like regular television. that worked for 50 plus years and honestly streaming business model is not profitable unless its driven with ad/commercials. thats the whole point in having content. how you think they make there money back if the content is not in theaters. ads revenue is big business regardless of the people hating. i can bet soon netflix will have a choice to make...risk not being profitable, or make the investors happen and add in advertisements. most platforms have it except netflix. They are betting on all platform shutting down one day and netflix be the last standing good luck...not with the model they are running.
