Their faces are demolished with a pan. Young man searching for energy drink in loot, that crew dropped. It really is the most bizarre thing. VR on SAO's level is more advanced than space age tech, yet it's presented as being no more eventful than the release of a new console. 2022 for this level of tech seems ludicrous in hindsight, but then again, it was written in the early 2000s so we can't really be too harsh.
