I get up just before 6am, whether it is dark, light, storms, raining, snowing etc. I get my walking gear on, put the dog in his harness and we go for an hour and a half fast walking over fields and through woods. No technology, just looking at what's around me and listening to the morning sounds. Breakfast 7:30, drop youngest off at school 8:15, and then it's work. I don't use an alarm clock. I walk him again for another hour in the same place at around 7-8pm. I work full time and I have a family life. As we had a holiday in country last year I have done this on 490 consecutive days. It keeps me fit, it helps me decompress. The best time of year are February mornings when I hear the birds tweeting rather than the owls hooting and I know the mornings will be getting lighter. I don't meditate, I don't need to.

In islam, the day starts after dawn . When muslims pray and remember God . The remembrance said bring peace and security in one life . Its a beautiful start for a day . What ever you have ,you ask Allah to make it easy for you , and you can see the results of this worship to Allaah.

Don't meditate morning. Watch day light, walk and fast for 3 hours at least. Ur body needs to release cortisol to wake u up fully to begin ur day . Eating or meditating will relax u meaning u will have depressive thoughts due to untimely release of cortisol in the evenings.

Meditate, drinking tea, exercise, cold shower, etc. The usual, except video games or pornography. As long as you can live out a life you're not participating in degenerate activities, you're good to go, having hit up all the sustainable dopamine achieving activities that are not overstimulating your baseline of happiness to spiral downwards down the road.

It's funny these people try to tell you you must get up and exercise and meditate and never pick up your iPad because it's bad for you, etc., well, they should be so lucky that we don't do all of that first thing in the morning, and that we have a cup of coffee while we're looking at these KZfaqrs, that give them revenue! Every morning when I wake up, I watch KZfaq videos and they should be thanking me.

Says the person watching a video on self health. Hahaha. Let's be honest. It's not an all in all out scenario. You can check in with your health status 4 times a year and update yourself on some recent information aligned with your goals and progress. That doesn't require obsession. It's just good quality of life management.

@@jamesroadnight5327 I didn't say I do it. But there are different ways of living life, not only your way. You can still listen to and learn different perspectives, even if you don't think they apply to you. Meditation, by the way, can be a way to get out of your comfort zone too.
