The term #neurotheology refers to that science that studies what happens at the neurobiological level during religious and faith experience. Between science and faith positions of distrust are maintained, perhaps on both sides, and especially in common feeling these areas continue to be irreconcilable.
Today, with this video, we delve a bit into this fascinating scientific-theological frontier.
Theology has always used models borrowed from #philosophy for the interpretation of faith. Today these models have become insufficient. Neuroscientific research addresses issues such as human behavior, consciousness and even faith, then expresses the results in philosophical terms as well.
Therefore, it is very interesting to observe what is happening in the field of #neuroscience, which today is also called upon to talk about theology.
