So I just got my first two peters banded stinks. But it was recommended that you don’t use all play sand and so mine is about 75% play sand and 25% soil organic soil. Where did you get that they needed 100% sand at?

From the very respected and well-known breeder that I got them from. That's how he keeps the 30 or 40 he has that he has kept for years. Often care guides and stuff on the internet can be wrong or conflicting but if you get the animal from a well-known respected breeder, I always recommend using whatever substrate they have been using.
