Corydoras in general all seem like such innocent and neutral good creatures. They are social, curious, active, and they have virtually no means of hurting neither their own nor other fish. Definitely among my favorite fish.

Great video as always Oliver. Received the Xingu book this week as well. When you said that more species are expected to be described, are anyone currently working on it? Or are we waiting for Luiz to have an exploration to Peru/Colombia region.

Yes, thank you. I think Luiz has been steadily describing some of the new ones. But same as Apistogramma, there are just too many!

I have a huge colony of green lasers and just acquired 7 red lasers to start another colony. I am excited about the new laser variant you showed. Thanks for a great video. The Hephaestus Cory is supposedly the new superstar of the Cory world.

The laser corys have a bunch of variants in more or less intense colours, i assume that between this northern location and points south near Pucallpa they come in all kinds of colours. _C.hephaestus_ is not that nice, sensitive, and Brazilian scientists have asked the fish not be exported because of the fragile wild population, so you will not see them here.

Wow, awesome cory varieties, thanks for including the origin info as well! I have had good success breeding gold lasers, cory similis, cory paleatus and cory pygmeus, but my brevirostris spawned once and I haven't gotten them to spawn again(I ended up with one baby). Can you give me any information on conditions where they are from that might help in getting them to spawn ?

Thank you. I have not collected _C.brevirostris_ myself, and I am not the best person to ask for breeding _Corydoras_ . Look up Ian Fuller on the corydorasworld website and ask him. I am sure he could give you some ideas.

Jetzt sind es knapp 30 Stück und ich habe ein neues Aquarium bestellt 😅. Wäre auch für einen deutschsprachigen Kanal. Because my english isn't very well😉...

Not my corycats c005 or other ones! They freak themselves out all the time 😅😅😅. I have a corydoras incolicana. It is extremely rare and beautiful in canada
