In this video I will share with you the new Cricut foil transfer kit. How it works and what surfaces it works on. This is a fun tool that works great on certain materials but they are very selective. It’s great for paper crafting for sure. I like that Cricut created a tool that is specific for cricket machines. I love my cricket machine and this is probably gonna be a new addition to the tools that I already have. This is not an expensive too so even if I use it only for Papercraft I think it’s still worth getting it.
This tool does not need any heat rich is a plus.

OMG Your Presentation of the NEW Cricut Foiling system is Spectacular!! I am excited about it and can’t wait for a October 6 on HSN because they are going to have the bundle and I want it!! To my knowledge you are the first one to actually do a tutorial on it except of course Cricut but ot didn’t include all that you did so you really did showcase it Spectacularly!! Oh there will be some skeptical crafters about this system but after they watch your video they’ll want it. GREAT JOB!!!

Thank you for this AMAZING review and for testing so many different materials. It saves me so much wasted product. Your videos NEVER disappoint me...they are always so informative and you give a !ot of helpful tips. I especially liked the tip of creating your own foiled paper on pre-printed paper. Also the foiled vellum was absolutely stunning!!! I can't wait for your next video.

SammySense Thank you. I have never tried waterslide decal paper so I don’t know how it feels but I would test it out on a small piece to see. I go to craft store often so If I will come across that paper I will test it and let you know.

What's the thickness of your vellum paper? Do you have the link where you purchased it from?

Yes. It’s core’dinations 65 lb from Jo-Ann. Most craft stores should have it.

Terry Day Its Cricut tape. It comes in every package with foil.

@Rodrigo Alves M. dos Santos This foil works with pressure and no heat required so I would guess just plain transfer foil should work but I would test it first though. I haven’t found any cheaper foil as of yet but if I will, I will make sure to post it or mention it. But make sure it’s not heat foil or toner foil like for mink.

Najwa Abul I have seen on the presentation of this tool that it can be used on the Cricut thin faux leather the one that I had was a little bit thicker and it was luxury faux leather it’s more of a soft leather but the one that Cricut sells it’s thinner and more stiff so it might work on that one I have not tried it but they showed that it works so you can try that. But if it’s thicker probably not gonna work because it didn’t quite work on mine.

Does it work for the Joy?

Mary Nax Unfortunately it does not work in the joy machine. Joy machine has smaller and thinner housing and this one is a lot bigger so it will not even fit in the Joy’s housing so it’s a no. Only explore family and maker.
