David is my favorite Doctor. The only one I sorta cried for when he left. Donna was always a unique companion, so unlike the others. Never a hint of romance between her and the Doctor. Always pure friendship. I loved them together and I'm so excited to see them again. But my question from this trailer is how and why is Tennant back?

"Why is Tennant back?" Just out of curiosity did you miss the end of Jodie Whittaker's run and her regeneration? I had a number of friends that didn't watch anything after Matt Smith, or ... gave up at the end of Tennant's run. I told them they missed out on a LOT of great stories in the middle, but I'm just happy David is coming back for even a short while.. :)

I really didn't like the Donna character at first, but through some great writing and a great job by Catherine Tate, she quickly became my absolute favorite character from the new Doctor Who series.

Wow... That was a big kick in the feels. It's good to see Catherine Tate back as Donna Noble (which is a known quantity), also Beep brought back a lot of 80s nostalgia about the "Star Beast" storyline in the Doctor Who comics. This is looking epic. Omg, I'm looking forward to this.

You mean Series 30 or else you think she was in the 1960's. I am constantly amazed that Americans think Dr Who started in the 2000's, I assure you it didn't. It started when I was 9 in 1963. If you doubt that ask yourself how many Doctors have their been then that will kill the idea there have only been 12 series. Oh and its 100% BBC not American as many websites including Wikipedia or as I call it liepeida say it is.

@@shilohmonroe-donovan "The Celestial Toymaker, was a powerful being who ensnared sentient beings in seemingly childish games, with their freedom as the stakes. However, the Toymaker hated to lose and the games were always rigged in his favour." He first appeared in the 60's when William Hartnell was the Doctor. There are different versions, the one I loved the idea of was when he appeared with a kind of Punch and Judy theatre, trapping live humans in the box and then setting rigged games they had to play to escape. If they failed they literally were hammered to death. One interesting point is the original edit of that series of episodes was so controversial it had to be reedited. The reason was that it went out at 5:30pm on Saturday and the watchdog thought that it was far too early for such a violent character. The Irony was the actor playing the part was a famous children's TV presenter. That story was in the tabloids at the time and caused a big stink. I will always remember my sister saying she would never watch his programs again. There are episode of Dr Who I remember to this day.

Started my DW journey on Tennant's debut Xmas special "The Christmas invasion" back in 05. I am beyond excited to see the man who started it for me come back for a final outing. Watching this trailer gives me the same feeling I had as a kid when I finished the special: pure joy, excitement, and optimism for what was to come. Hopefully they can give Ncuti Gatwa one fantastic entrance🙌

I'm so excited for this. I was pretty much fine with the way things ended for companions like Rose, Martha, and Amy and Rory, but Donna Noble was one chapter in the Doctor's life I always wished could be revisited. They were good for each other in a way I don't think any other Modern TARDIS team has ever been, and while I see the value in Donna's tragic ending from Series 4, there was always a part of me that didn't want to accept it. We'll see what happens, but I'm choosing to have faith that RTD will do Donna's character justice and give her a satisfying send-off. And one thing I know for sure, no matter what happens, is that it will be soooo fun to have David Tennant and Catherine Tate on my screen.

The look on the Doctor's face when he tells Donna that he doesn't know if he can save her again. For a brief moment in time, he had someone that understood what was constantly going on in his head. Thoughts of eternity and every possible outcome. All of it was going through Donna's brain, and it was killing her. Donna was his best friend. One of the handful of companions that made the Doctor stop and do more than what history would write. That was prevalent in The Fires of Pompeii when she convinced him to save one family. He couldn't save everyone, but he could save one family. To save her life, the Doctor needed to wipe her memories of everything they did together since that Christmas adventure. It broke his hearts because it left him alone again. This November, we get one last adventure of the Doctor and Donna Noble. Here's to another decade of Doctor Who and will be waiting from Utah for the 70th.

LOve the fact (as its the 60th anniversary ) that they have gone back and used the dr who logo from the 70s era of John Pertwee and Tom Baker as the doctor ! I thought i recognised the logo when it popped up as they are the 2 doctors i 1st saw growing up (i was born 1970) so that has a lot of memories for me and a nice touch by the BBC ..i wonder how many others spotted it?

I saw the 50th in the theatre in the US & it was _electric_ ! I have some reservations about the actual episode, but they didn't even matter; it was such a good time. I wish so much that at least the 1st episode (maybe with extra new material, like Tales from the Tardis, or the mysterious "60th anniversary" that is listed a couple of days ahead of the Beep the Meep ep?) was going to be released as a theatre event. It would be so festive! Watching it at home is just not the same.

All I needed to see was Donna Noble and the Tenth Doctor to know that life has gotten a bit better. I’ve always said that the hill I will die on is the one that shows Donna Noble as being the best companion the Doctor ever had.
