Hopefully they can work out the rights issue that stopped them making the yeti originally. And im sure theyd be able to work out how to make a jamie and victoria for a B&M set

$60USD shipped to the US. Ugh, these prices are still better than aftermarket. I got the B&M Shada Tardis for $50-ish and the aftermarket is insane now. This is such and oddball Tardis with the reversed door sign and no pull handle above the lock but I love it. I'm not a fan of the white wash though I get it, it's supposed to sort of be snow. Regardless, this is the first REAL variation of the 2nd Doctor we've gotten so bought and paid for. I eagerly await its arrival.

Oh my giddy aunt, this looks great! Because my Doctor Who collectibles is mostly sonic screwdrivers I admit I sometimes forget about standard figs. That it includes the Abomidable Snowman coat is a great touch.

Shame that IDW no longer holds the Doctor Who comic license, we easily coulda gotten a crossover between the two. Heck a TARDIS Transformer toy is one of my Collaborative wishes.

I wonder if Character Options still create artificial scarcity by short packing a particular figure and then ship entire cases of the 'chase' figures to their preferred customers to capitalise on? I remember bac in the day when Rose and the Cyberman were short packed and were selling at a premium because they were so rare... One per case if I recall, but if you knew the right people you could get full cases of each ;)

If you mean, "is this set intentionally produced in limited quantities?", then the answer is yes. Al Dewar explained that this is due to retail rights; this set had to be made as a limited online exclusive, or it wouldn't have been made at all (something to do with B&M having the exclusive deal to release Doctor Who figure sets at retail).

Come on mate, it's The Abominable Snowmen, plural. There's more than one yeti in the story. You made that mistake in the title *and* in the video.

PvP often gets fine details wrong. I don't doubt he's a fan of some of these things, just more of a casual fan rather than a hardcore fan. Which is fine enough but I also suspect that he goes off of memory on these things instead of doing intensive research into the subjects he reviews. Case in point, his Transformers Kingdom Bear Wars figure reviews he uses the words "maximize" and "terrorize" to refer to converting from robot mode to beast mode even though it's the other way around and they never say those activation codes for going into beast mode.
