Ontario Premier Doug Ford says that the Ontario Line is going to be an absolute game changer for Toronto.
It is going to expand the current subway system by 50%.
So we should definitely know which areas this new subway line is going through because it's going to affect our investment decisions going forward.

the first station IS NOT LOCATED in Ontario Place, it's on the GO Exhibition Station .

Note that the first stop is actually at Exhibition place, and that the moss park station is actually at the northwest corner of Queen and Sherbourne

By the time it's done we'll be using that Wheel Trans bus for senior people .....so we should fight for better services from Wheel Trans now

Yes people don't seem to understand that. They use it as a 'selling tool' but nothing will get done in the near future and we'll still have an archaic subway line in a big city like Toronto !

Take it from the Eglington line where they excavated and found "old infrastructures system" and got delayed for sometime .........This Ontario line is going through the historic downtown, imagine when they excavated and found ancient pizza oven dated back to the First Nation, or ancient Pigeon Cemetery, then all the archeologists have to be brought in ..... I give them 5yrs for that

I can't believe it took years to even think about doing that ! Which proves how retarded Toronto transit system is compared to the rest of the world and yet, so expensive. Now we'll have to wait another 25 years or so... Maybe for the next generations.....
