I have to respect new gamers. I've played video games all my life. I'm a nomad now so I don't really anymore. I have a laptop that can handle them, but my days are so packed full of stuff to do that I never find the time unless I'm sick or exhausted. When I do play them though I notice just how much my past knowledge helps me. I know what to prioritize, how systems work, how to outwit AI, and how to move through areas quickly and carefully. If I didn't have all of that built into me it would be really hard.

I love how 'the last of us' has always been a reflection of how humans are the actual danger in the world,how selfishness turns people into those biased ones that would blindly cause much more damage in order to preserve whatever is important for them.(like all the times Joel did terrible things that people decide to justify and forgive because they want to preserve the character they got attached to... Sounds familiar? It's exactly the point of the story...) The thing is,in life there's no main character, no protagonist nor antagonist,we're all deuteragonists in a way. Even the path Ellie is following isn't revenge because she told Dina that she's aware of Joel taking a lot from others, neither is justice because that'd be eye for an eye (Abby killed one specific person,when Ellie is killing a city) this is just corruption taking over as it happened to Joel before meeting Ellie... And that was because Joel's lost of Sarah made him feel pain,that projected on himself became blame,which turned into anger and then it came out as aggression... Ellie is becoming the Joel she first met instead of the redeemed Joel she misses...

This game is a masterpiece. Abby and Owen are definitely my favorite characters.

This game is super dynamic and it’s not really a shooting game. The more creative you get with your kills the more rewarding it becomes. Try making the stumble with a brick or bottle or after your first shot and then melee. There are sooo many melee animations in this game. Also try watching a speed run in hard or survivor mode of a scene you already played for inspiration. I love your reactions by the way ❤
