13x9 pan like the one you have (with the small lip) will work if you place the wire rack in the bottom slot upside down. I learned that trick from you on another video. If you leave the wire rack right side up, the pan bumps into the rotisserie holders on the sides. I love your videos!

Great review. I do absolutely love my Omni Plus but, yes, some of the function labels have started to rub off. I really think that is unacceptable since I’ve only ever used Dawn dish soap with a soft cloth to clean it. I now don’t dare wipe the control panel area off anymore and it’s got a layer of residue on it which I find quite annoying. Has Instant Pot addressed this problem and provided a solution? I purchased this model to avoid a touch display but probably should’ve gone with the touch display. That said, I love the way it cooks and use it on a daily basis. Really like the looks of the new one. I wonder if it will cook as big a chicken on the rotisserie as the original? The cooking chamber looks a fair amount shorter than the original. Thanks for the review. It’s very helpful.

Hi Lana! This and all your other videos are SO great - you make things so easy to understand (which I can't say about some of your competition!). Apologies in advance - this comment is gonna be akin to a mini-novella(!), but just so you have some context for my ultimate question... So... I got the 10-in-one (the one you are demo'ing here) which was discounted $90 for Prime Days, great deal - but, I haven't opened it yet. Why? I came to realize that what I thought I was getting was the newer one but is actually the older one - that is, the 11-in-one - the one you had originally gotten and did an unboxing video on a year ago (and that you said in this video that you stored it away already because you preferred your old Omni, which I don't think is made anymore). For some reason I thought the all-steel design and physical buttons (11-in-one) would have been the latest incarnation - to my mind, an improvement over the black & steel and the digital buttons (10-in-one) - but you're telling us, no, the 10-in-one is the newer one. Thing is, Macy's just announced a big sale on the 11-in-one for only $169 - and, I thought, ok, that's great, I'll get that one - but, now that I know the one I have (10-in-one) is the newer one, I'm conflicted. So, my question, which really has all to do with the display: with the exception of the cook mode labels disintegrating, isn't it easier, even more fun, to use the push buttons vs. the digital buttons? Furthermore, I've had various electrical items here and there, such as microwaves, where, over time, there was some degradation of the digital buttons where you had to keep pressing harder and harder to activate them - while with physical push buttons you rarely have that problem, they always seem to work. Also, the screen layout on the 11-in-one seems to be more user-friendly than the 10-in-one, which seems to have less flexibility and less options (and I'm not referring at all to the presets, but just the general, basic use of it). Am I wrong on that? I realize it's sort of personal preference, but I'd love to hear your thoughts, based on your experience using both, before I go and return the 10-in-one and get the 11-in-one - sale is on til July 3rd, if memory serves. Mine just arrived…and I ordered one for both my daughter and daughter -in-law.

I purchased the new OMNI plus and it was $250 and I really love it. They did release a new one called the OMNI pro it is a little more expensive at $299. I did notice it didn't have the knob to turn though it is all touch screen but looks about the same other than having a thermometer and dual cooking you can set. Have you compared those two? Unless I am missing something is it really worth the extra $50 to upgrade to the new Pro OMNI? Would love your thoughts! Also have you added the silicone mate to the tray to make easier cleanup? Wondered if that would be a good idea to try. Thanks!

Hi Lana, I know you are back to teaching so there's little time for responses here. Since I know you are a stickler for keeping your appliances clean, I wonder if you have figured out a way to clean grease dripping from between the 2 plates of glass on the Omni Plus 18L (which I absolutely love!). It's great that the labels are on the inside now so they don't rub off, but I can't get to the grease drippings which drives me a bit crazy!!

I was in love with the 18 until I saw it was missing the proofing cycle. I love to make bread abs it does such a wonderful job of proofing. I wonder why they took it off and if it will come back? Guess I’ll be staying with the original model. Thanks for the fantastic videos!

Regarding your baking dish comparison: When you tried fitting it in the new 18l, you were hitting the humps that are in between the rack channels. Would your dish work if you slid it into the channel like a rack?

Do you know if you can purchase a grease screen for the toaster/air fryer. It would be great!

Well definitely don't get the old one because they don't sell replacement parts for the handle which falls off really easily and that's the biggest complaint. I thought I would let people know before they buy one. The new one I don't know. Unfortunately we don't have that. The way I see it, if they can't and will not replace the handle for the old one, why buy a new one with the metal handle even because to me if they're not going to back up their old product they might not and will not back up their new product either. That's just a food for thought for people who are buying this oven. Cuz the oven still works, it's just the handle fell apart and I've been trying to find some way of replacing it

Hi! I know this was a year ago but taking a chance: Lana, the Omni 18 manual specifically says not to use foil inside as it will generate heat. Yet every video/ google reply says you can! Which is correct? Thank you!

Is disappointing they lower capacity from 26L to 18L. Getting a Omni Plus 26L now is almost impossible. Still trying to understand why such a nice product was replaced for a new one in about a year, I was ready to buy it, now I can't. I want to use a cast iron double dutch oven (pan is about 4" and lid is little bit over 2") so, this one won't work.

Where can I get a wire rack

It's nice looking but... Air fry basket too small for pan it sits in so a lot of real-estate wasted. Steam gets trapped in double pane glass on door, rendering useless any visuals to see inside and the cook. Seals poorly done. Why the OFF has to be hi lighted all the time unless unplug. Tried 3 units on each pan and racks slip out of slots on walls making a burn hazard as try to fish them out.
