I'll be ordering this very same mower in a couple of days. The full Owner's Manual can be found on Toro's website. It can be downloaded and then printed if needed. (Personal opinion: A printed manual in the box is REALLY NICE... but many products are now doing the same thing. It saves Toro maybe 75c to not include it. Grr.) About that blue electric start push button: It acts as a key. If you remove it, a thief cannot start the mower even with the recoil cable. That's why it's packaged separately. Try prying the blue button out and then pull the recoil cable... the mower should not start at all. Yes, they could just roll the mower away, but it won't work unless they get something to act as a key. So, whatever. And, yeah... the lack of an INCLUDED side discharge chute really is nasty. Yes, it's free if you register. But it's just another cost-saving step that makes consumer's lives more difficult. I'm 68 and grumpy. Get off my lawn!!! :D

I just purchased and cut for the first time yesterday after charging the electric start for 24 hours. I didnt use the bag, as i set the switch to recycler (mulch) and it was great, to those complaining about no side discharge chute, when you register your machine. Toro will ask if you want a discharge chute, which they will send you one, i mulch my yard 75% of the time so its not a big deal for me. Ive had no problems with the electric start, and am very pleased with this mower.

My wife purchased one of these for me for Father's Day. Thanks honey. The personal pace option fantastic. Other than that terrible. During the mulching leaves grass pull out the front over the top and onto the mower the rest blows out toward the right front wheel and onto the mower so much debris on top of it. I should have done better research should have bought the Honda

Just bought mine yesterday. I dont know much about mowers and I typically research the heck out of stuff before buying it, but not this. Out the gate, its the best mower I have ever used. I decided to learn more after finishing the lawn. Well needless to say, I have to call ACE in an hour because they gave it to me off the rack. I wasnt worried about the lack of a box or instruction manual, but I didnt know what electric start is. I have no button and no charger!

These new Toro mowers are so much more appealing compared to the previous years by just putting their plain logo on the front side of the mower. A lot cleaner and attractive than the old decals with it saying "Recycler" and black and gold background

I had a toro for years I think it had a Kawasaki engine my son has it now never had any prob. got a honda hr215 now ive had it about 20 years Toros and hondas are the best.

No side discharge on this model...I did not know that. I was on the fence between a Recycler and a Super Recycler. I bought a Super because I have tons of leaves in the fall.

Honestly I am very disappointed there's no side discharge. But I will be making one for this mower cuz it needs it at certain properties I do, it is very hard to cut tall grass with this mower.

The assembly instructions were ok except, my electric start did not work after 2 days of charging. The pull started with ease. I noticed that I had a set of wires by the starter that looked odd. No instructions to speak to that. I removed the wire assembly and plugged started wire to starter plug and electric start fired right up. Not sure why that set of wires was there but clearly not needed. Hope this helps someone.

I got mine April 2021 and it's the worst mower I've ever used in 50 years of lawn mowing! It ran well for the year 2021 but I stored it late October that year (Winter) so it wasn't used that much. This year is very different! It has run terribly all this season. Surges all the time, stalls, runs at half power, etc. Had it fixed? The guy did a tune up and adjusted the throttle a little for $133.00 and I've been running non-ethanol gas and it still runs terrible! So now I'm getting a new carburetor for another $110.00! So I would not recommend Toro at all especially with a Briggs and Stratton engine! Toro has always been a great company but like many things these day's "they ain't what they used to be"! At least Honda builds their own engines. Maybe some folks will have better luck...

Anyone else having problems shutting off the mower?

Very disappointed with this mower which I bought in April of 2021. Let it sit too long and the carburetor clogs up and it won't start. In my case it wasn't more than a month sitting at the end of last season and it wouldn't start, and won't start this 2022 spring. Will have to take it in to have the carburetor cleaned professionally. Way too over-engineered carburetor.

150 cc is not a powerful engine, just sayin'.
