A couples rv does NOT need 3 couches. Why do they not listen to us? Why do your entertaining inside. That's what outdoor seating is for. Owned 38ft grand design with front living, lived full time for 6 years. Took out couch put in desk area. Went to smaller unit so rv sites wouldn't put me in with the motor homes. Still a full timer. Nothing like the freedom.

Then get a Transcend or any other floor plan that has only two…this is a Front Living room plan, in all the other FL models it always has three couches..

👍🏽 Everything about this is nearly perfect! The closet space, huge refrigerator, excellent cabinets, it all works! On the lack of a skylight in the shower, you might also mention less chance of mold or mildew. Sunlight feeds mold, and if you are the type to shower and go, without drying the walls, doors, etc. every single time, less sunlight in a wet area is a good thing. 😊 Also that TV looks at about the right height to put a folding desk in front of it and get some work done using that TV as a 4K monitor. I might option a queen, but that’s minutia.

Like this one! Love how tall this rv this over all in side. Love all of the living space in the front. Love all of the sofas. Love cabinets in the kitchen. The the dining chairs. The kitchen is a little to small. The bath room is great and how tall it is. The bathroom is great as well. Like how tall it is. Like all of the windows. Like the 6 pot leveling. Over like it! Thank you!

Nice 5th wheel ... IMHO, would be better floorplan by switching tv stand area with love seat/double recliners ... From kitchen area, viewing back of tv cuts off the living room area - not in a good way ... Possibly end recliners area, have a Murphy bed fold down for extra guests & move tv stand area to side loveseat/switching the two for a more open feel to living room ...

In a way I like the ability to separate or open the space but I know it's not for everyone. It's not for everyone but I do enjoy it myself. I think that could absolutely be due to the fact I see the same things all the time and like something that's a little less common I also would add I have zero experience using an RV like this and could be totally wrong lol

I want a couple power recliners, a power reclining theater seat and a desk in the living room. I don't need sleeper sofas. I want a dishwasher in the kitchen - it's a couples camper. If we're traveling in style with our dogs - they have beds to place in the living room. Overall not bad but could use some tweaking

Seems a bit plain in features to me. I really don’t like the closet space for the bedroom. I would definitely be using the washer space for a washer. I do like the kitchen & dining layout. But as someone has said 3 couches is a bit of overkill in my opinion. The bathroom seems a bit small & lacking counter space. At over 39 feet I think I would expect more closet space.

I actually seen this model a month ago. Full disclosure, I am a travel trailer camper with no desire for a 5th wheel (a bigger tow vehicle is not in the budget either). This Rv is exceptional but I think it is more of a “park it at the lake “ cabin not a weekly tow. Great video

Not a fan of front living, but this is executed very well. I could see removing one (or both) of the front slides to increase cargo and lessen the opportunity for overnight guests 😉. Oh BTW that sticker of a dog paw above the mystery bracket under the front passenger side slide might be a tiny clue as to its intended function... 🙃🤔.

Yeah mystery dog bracket is likely moving. I spoke with their product manager about it and he was almost as confused as I was regarding its placement

I love that idea but I'm not sure it can actually work. Those upper deck slides don't go down to the floor like a lower deck slide. They're elevated above the floor to make room for the upper deck chassis frame rails. So as a result the sofas "float" about a foot off the floor are are masked with a sofa-looking fascia If you pulled them out and put in a normal desk, then you'd have no room for your legs. OR you'd need to get something like a high top chair

I love this floor plan only thing ( its not a deal breaker.... But) i would just do this floor with no dinette i am very much outside eater or on the couch in front of the tv . Even our home dinning room only gets used possibly 5-6 times a year Holliday's and a few birthdays thats it

Hey RV nerd, nice video. Though this RV is way above what I would even come close to needing considering I'm a single person. Very well done video thank you for showing this RV because man it is nice. I understand companies are still trying to rake in dollars. The pandemic is over. Nobody is looking for all this inside an RV unless they are living in it. Who in an RV needs three couches? Lol God bless them if they do. But you switch those couches out with a dinette and a single guy like me with a $10,000 budget would be happy to see what they got brand new. The industry needs to come down another 20 grand easy. But I do love but they're trying to give us a super sized hamburger in a world that don't need hamburgers anymore.

Trick with front living is couches are really about the only seating option that works because the slides are nearly a foot off the floor with a fake sofa-looking fascia. The slide has to be elevated to clear the chassis support rails up there Otherwise yeah - swap one for a dinette for sure

I don’t like under mounted if I need to crawl under to get to it. Dangerous enough on the side of the highway without being under it. Maybe if it is under the back wall right at the edge it would be ok.

1) Overall I like it. Pretty unit. 2) No underneath spare tires 🛞 please. It makes it difficult to crawl under and mess with. It’s bad enough having to deal with being on the side of the road putting an unpleasant hiccup on your journey, but to have the aggravation of dealing with under mount spares just adds to the pissed off meter. They need to be mounted either on the rear, or tongue, or have a storage closet big enough to put 2 spares in. 3) Do you know how many of these units have had problems with Frame Flex? Seems like I hear where GD has more issues than other brands. 4) Can you add a swivel tv stand to that tv to make it swivel a little bit? It appears that even if you could, the shelf lid may prevent it from swiveling to its max. 5) Another fine job Josh.

2.) TY for the suggested location 3.) That's something found near-exclusively in the 17,000lb+ model range. Reflections have almost no instances to my knowledge. I'm sure there's SOME, but I've seen SOME on almost any brand. The entire flex topic IS a real thing but not nearly to the scale you'd think by looking around online. It's become trendy to talk about without actual frames of reference. The bulk of that conversation actually relates to things like solitude/momentums with exchanged pinboxes towed with extreme frequency. 4.) I'm not sure and would have to see what space is available 5.) TY again

I would be living full time in an RV like this in my daughter's backyard except for three reasons: her city probably wouldn't allow it, she lives in tornado alley, and I don't want to deal with the toilet issues. But, this model is great. I can think of a few things I'd probably change, but I still really like it! 😁

Nice. But because it is a GD with their known frame breakage problems, wouldn't take it if you gave it to me. At one time they were #1 in customer service. Not so much anymore.

I would first start by saying "Please ignore all of the _four seasons_ rhetoric out there in the RV industry." That stuff actually has no definition whatsoever RV Makers at most may test from 0-100 degrees. RARELY will any builder go beyond that. And no RV is tested and proven for something like alaska winters. Nor can you specially request an RV to be built with different treatments Reflection does rate from 0-100 but beyond that nobody can make any guarantees

Really interesting design. If I was in the market for something this big this unit would be high on my list of options. …. And it has a camp side dinette, which is a winner. …. But bedroom does not seem to have accommodations for CPAP users which is a BIG miss given the demographic of potential buyers of a unit like this.

Ok what is with the cheaper campers getting 3 way microwave and these big ones you don’t? By 3 way I mean microwave, convection, and air fryer microwaves. Yes they make them small camper size and full size.

Lot of the smaller ones are using elec oven/microwave combos to get rid of propane ovens for a net reduced cost If a propane oven is already present, then we see fewer enhanced microwaves. It's not that way 100% of the time but that's the trend

I wondered as well but estimated it's so the TV can't be accidentally partially rotated either before someone puts it down or gets "stuck" in the cabinet when retracted But I do like that idea

Two things... lose all those sofas.. my goodness. Houses dont have that many. Geezzz. I wont be having parties in an RV. silence and alone is good for me. anddd the bathroom is too small. I do like the bathroom..head space and all in shower but it is really small for this size camper.

The side sofas are there because there's really no other furniture option that works in that space since it is a raised slide. The front sofa is there because it faces the tv As soon as you shrink a bit that all changes to more traditional seating setups
