Thank you for sharing another awesome video. BVFRocks looks like my next weekend adventure! I have two small pieces of galena from Dirty Girls Rocks but haven't found any myself. BVFR looks like the place to fill my bucket!

Yeah this is the first time I’ve really found significant galena crystals

I dont mind a little rain.. it actually helps out my old tired eyes .. Thanks for taking us along on the Adventure! 👍

As far as rain goes it really wasn’t an issue and I think it really brings out the colors in the rocks. I’ll be back here soon and it should be awesome. Bringing in the experts from the Missouri mines historical society

Glad to have dug with you and Jeff, the dynamic duo! Was a great day. Yeah, the sun not being out was a bummer, I can’t wait to go back again with sunlight to help, especially in the galena pits!

I’m going back this weekend with Adam and his buddy from the Missouri mines historical society (both of them). Adam has only been in one of my early videos but we’ve been good friends for a few years now. I’m super pumped to get him out there. Dude is a wealth of information and a great storyteller

13:00 The size of that thing is just insane. It has almost a lifelike appearance to it, like you'd find in a coral reef. What a spot dude!
@dustinfindsrocks5 ай бұрын
A lot of this stuff formed in fossil stromatolite reef structures 🤷🏻♂️ I think the mineral formations have taken that on

That definitely was an awesome day! Those Galena pieces were awesome! I know you have a ton of the druzy pieces, but for us that don't, they sure were pretty! And the barite pieses were really neat! Cool place! A great place to go in the future! Thanks Dustin! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁❤️

Yeah there was a lot of great stuff I didn’t pick up. I’m actually going back here Saturday but that video probably won’t be out till next year. Merry Christmas Lisa 🎅🏻🎄

That huge stromagate is worth blowing the shocks out on the car for. That's a dandy! Washington County is like going to another planet to hunt rocks. Glad we got to experience that with you and Jeff. This spot looks awesome. Score on the galena finds.
@dustinfindsrocks6 ай бұрын
Washington county is why I started my channel. It’s not really a well known Rockhounding area but it should be! I’m really excited to head back with my friend Adam tomorrow who is an expert on local mine history. Should be really interesting and informative and I’m sure I’ll find something awesome!

Great video and finds! Looks like the landscape required a small blood sacrifice from the thorns. Is nice to not be overgrown and full of bugs though.

😂 the timing though right when I said I was glad I didn’t get stung and WHACK 😂 guess I angered the wasp spirits. Check out my older videos if you’re curious I rocked an awesome Gandalf costume about a year ago
@crystalwizard99206 ай бұрын
@dustinfindsrocks I have watched a lot of your videos and seen your nice costume fellow Wizard! I have actually seen you in person a few times at haunted ridge including your Halloween dig that I just recently finished cleaning up my finds from way back then. I might make a video of them but some are in my recent haunted ridge video I put together before Bryan's dig this year. That stuff is getting cleaned up by mother nature on my back yard.... the rocks are piling up around here 😅

@@crystalwizard9920 Awesome! Ha ha yeah that's why I didn't pick up quite a few nice botryoidal pieces this time. Sorry I meet so many people now lol. What did Gandalf say to the reindeer? Fly you fools! LOL merry Christmas!

Good video thanks. I enjoyed all the variety of drusy at the first site and the galena mixed in at the second site. Do you work some of your pieces with oxalic acid and/or ultrasonic baths?
