You lied in the review. There is actually much better legroom in the Kodiaq than in the Superb. The numbers don't tell the whole story. You actually need to try them.

This is exactly the review I wanted. I don't understand the technical stuff. But I do appreciate the equipment levels of each trim being discussed. I have a disability and cannot leave the house that often but this video is the next best thing to a personal test drive. I have been able to review the vehicles available on the Motability scheme and dismiss them as an option because of these accurate honest reviews

You are right! Came from a Superb Estate, not sure without DCC I could live at the Kodiaq :) what I noticed late also is that the Superb has LED stripes on the front dash, whereas for some reason the Kodiaq does not! The 20” inch alloy wheels at certain motorway quality and speed their are terribly bouncing regardless of DCC settings, the Superb do not have that with the 19” inch alloywheels, or maybe it is the weight distribution difference between the two… Above 180 km/h you do not even need to break by the Kodiaq as the air dynamics break for you… whereas by the Superb due to better aerodynamics you have to break :) Due to the aforementioned airdynamics the Kodiaq with 200Ps diesel engine is sooo slowly accelarating - do you know if it is due to the emmission rules? They maybe choked back the Kodiaq, or is it really that aerodynamics? The superb with ca. Same weight and 190ps is much more rapid in accelaration.

I notice they’ve removed the traffic assist feature from the steering wheel. This is causing them a mile of trouble in previous versions as it melts the sensors in the steering wheel and sounds constant warning chimes in the cabin that can’t be turned off. It’s a nightmare and they just can’t fix it.

They released a software update which fixed this problem. No more problems

@@Iwishiwasflying yes. I am on my third steering wheel now and apparently this one should be ok. As I’m in Australia I just don’t use the steering wheel heater which was supposedly the trigger. I’m selling the car soon so just not going to take the chance of the problem happening again and going off in a test drive 😂

Shame the VRS didn't get the 206kw motor out of the Superb instead of the Octavia motor. Bit of a loss losing the 500nm diesel too. Excellent review.

i dont understand the comparison between Discovery and Kodiaq...All Range Rovers and LAnd Rovers are known for bad engine cars for long term for your budget..the Kodiaq is the best SUV for the money in its class.Please stop with this British protection of your cars and comparing with others...All british cars are so expensive to buy,expensive to maintain,and they lose at least 40% of its value in the first year.A new Range cost around 70 to 100k euros and after 1year you cant sell it for 50k,but the new Kodiaq costs around 40 50k new and 1y old is still in the price range of 35k euros only 10k euros down.So KOdiaq is the best SUV you can buy for your money now and it will be in the next 5years.

Hi there, it was reported earlier this month that Volkswagen Group has ended production at its Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod plants in Russia. The manufacturer cites a lack of EU-produced parts, important components from Ukraine and supply chain issues as the reason for the move. This review was filmed before this announcement was made and we can only give details as they are at the point of filming. Hope this helps 👍

@@minnietoby well, cars like VW touran, galaxy s max and so on are more comfortable, have more room in the third row and get better mileage. But besides those things, kodiaq is better :)
