New Spirit AeroSystems Whistleblower Claims Pressure To Hide Defects In Boeing 737 Fuselages

29 күн бұрынA former quality manager who worked at Spirit AeroSystems, a Tier 1 supplier for Boeing, has alleged that the culture at the company has allowed many defects to slip through the cracks, including the one that resulted in the Alaska Airlines mid-flight door plug blowout in January 2024.
Speaking in an interview with CBS News, the now-former quality manager at Spirit said that if quality mattered, he would still be working at the company.

And furthermore, Boeing executives were unhappy with their headquarters move from Seattle to Chicago and they’re now moving them from Chicago to Northern Virginia! Even further away from where most of the issues are happening!

Why do most videos showing aircraft assembly zip through at Super Speed ?? Even at the slowest KZfaq setting .25 it is still to fast to take it in, then you can't use the sound.

The policies may have changed at Spirit AeroSystems. "Mums the word" about upper management being replaced. Lower level employees have reason to be skeptical about "changing the safety culture".
