Nice one! I love the anamorphic lens by freewell. One thing to note is to make sure to change the aspect ratio to 3840x1878 when using the anamorphic lens for the Osmo. Cool review 👍

You video techniques are very helpful. In your video list, I did not see any tips about camera usage in winter weather. Is it an idea worth exploring for a future video? : :

Happy you like them! It's actually pretty straightforward what I do with my gear in winter: I use it as usual but don't charge anything while using it. When I get back I wait a few hours for everything to dry before powering them on. That's pretty much it!

Hello Loic, didn’t see this video of yours when it was released back in early May. I shot some video in bright sunlight of a train moving from left to right and it looked so unusable because it was so choppy; an ND filter would certainly help by dropping the shutter speed. You haven’t shown any examples of the anamorphic lens have you?

Love your review thank you Loic and also cool name :) I want to buy the Dji Pocket 2 combo.. it comes with 1 wide-lens. Do you think the Wide lens that comes with the combo is better instead of having to buy expensive pack of filters with diferent lenses? All i want is a wide lens because i want to film the city as i walk and it has to capture many things. Please let me know as if the wide lens that comes with the filters pack is diferent lens quality to the one that comes as Pocket 2 Combo ? Also if i may ask :) i love tyhe snow and this video a lot :) And my second question is.. I want to record in 4K obviously but shouldn't the 4k be added as 60 frames per second rather then 24 ? so 4K/60 for perfect views to watch it later on youtube,.... But if i want to record 1 hour and 20minutes continuesly do you think a scandisk pro 128gb microsim card is enough ? or will a standard scandisk 64gb be enough for 1hour and 20minutes recording on 4k/60 ? I wouldnt no plus also why people have it on 4k/24 ? whats the diferences between that vs 4k/60 ? for the best quality posible video and yes we talking about filming :) let me know im very keen to learn thank you.

Happy to hear you enjoyed the review! 1. If you are planning to use the auto settings (actually what I have been doing for the last few videos), yes, the wide-angle lens that is included is great! The only reason to buy other ones is if you plan on using ND filters. 2. I do not know if 128gb or 64gb is enough for 4k/60fps, I almost never film at 60fps. 3. I did some more tests when I got back in town and realized that the Freewell has much more distortion.

Hi, thanks for sharing this interesting video. I'd like to ask you a question. I recently got the Pocket 3 and today I received the FREEWELL ND8/PL filter. It's sad to say that the gimbal no longer folds. He is unable to make a normal turn to close, but the camera remains on its side and no longer protected. Why please? Thank you.

This ND filter fit with Wide angle lens comes with Pocket 2 ? Or we have to buy wide angle lens from freewell to use ND filters. Because I am happy with the wide angle lens comes from pocket 2. So I am planning only to buy Anamorphic lens which comes with ND filters for $69. And can I use it for wide angle from pocket 2 ??

No, if you want to use the ND + Wide angle lens, you have to buy the kit from Freewell. The anamorphic is a wider angle lens but it distorts the image so I wouldn’t use it to replace the wide angle lens.

Sadly no, the new sensor/lens is much bigger! Freewell does make other lenses for the DJI Pocket 3 so I think it's only a question of time before we get one: www.freewellgear.com/en/156-dji-osmo-pocket-3-nd-filters

Yes, it will. Just be careful because the Osmo Pocket might not recognize it as a wide angle lens but it worked fine when. I tested

One review I saw shows that the dji pocket 2 wide angle lens snaps onto the camera itself. I cannot for the life of me get it to click into place and only has the magnetic features. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this false? I watched the review by "Potato Jet" where he shows the lens can be snapped on.

I am not sure to understand, what do you mean by snaps on? They only way to attach the lenses is with the magnets.

I don't think that exist (for now at least). That's one of the disadvantage of the DJI Pocket filter system.

I shoot in AUTO mode (4k 60fps), and I'm not interested in changing the motion (to get the 'cinematic blur'), I just want to get not-too-bright footage in a very sunny day. I guess using a filter while filming in AUTO doesn't make sense, then? if so, my only option would be getting in PRO mode and lower the EV? (and letting all the rest in AUTO). You can check a video I took last week, in a very sunny day: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q8xyp9CW1rjelJ8.html (in the last 15 seconds you can see everyone is so white!) and kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rKtyqsaTspvSmX0.html (at 00:40 you can see them so white as well)

I don't think an ND would really help in you situation. The problem is that the Pocket 2 doesn't have good dynamic range (very bright parts become white, and dark parts become black). You could try reducing the EV without the ND filter and see what it does. If it's still way to bring, then maybe an ND could help.

@@sebastown No an ND is the one to make the image darker. The CPL will make the green and blue more saturated and but reflections.
