Sadly some of the recording went iffy midway and that's because I record 5 min segments and fights against many last a lot longer. So I will be rectifying that so it doesn't happen anymore.

Would defy death hatchet heal proc the heal on ring?

I tested many heals and I'm sure that was 1 that didn't proc the ring sorry.

How did you go about getting the azoth armor you wanted? Did you just keep making them at the kilm til you got the perks you wanted or is there a way to make them with the specific perks you want?

Farm or craft the armour at the Gypsom Kiln and then change the 3rd perk at the kiln for shirking heals, Tonic of Tyrannis is the mod.
