Ok so I will explain the build in more details here.
The gear I have is as BIS for me as I can get atm, when they allow us to upgrade pvp named items then it will be full BIS. The aim is to reduce our cd's as much as possible as this build is a cc/stagger machine and the more we can disrupt or disable somebodies ability to hit us the better.
GEAR:
With that in mind 3 Refreshing and 2 Refreshing Ward are extremely nice and since Refreshing Ward is only attainable on the PvP track and you haven't had any yet then I'd suggest using 4 piece Azoth Crystal set with the Void Chest or Tumblers if you haven't had the chest drop yet. Shirking heals across the board as any heal you can get is better than no heals and with the Ankh it's like having a potion every 5 secs. Enchanted Ward is a BIS perk and if it wasn't for the fact I love refreshing ward I'd have more in my setup! Grit Ward is another super good choice since we will be gritted but we wont be all the time and this game is very light attack spammy which is why I rate Enchanted Ward higher than Grit Ward.
I like the Butchers sword (artifact) but if you don't have it then you can create from the gypsom kiln a sword called the Toothpick. It comes with leaping strike, health on kill and I put keenly jagged on it but your stats will need to change. Or get a random 700 sword with Leaping Strike and Keenly Jagged and a random perk with Con or Str to keep the 300/300+ stat split.
For the Flail the Cleansing Whip is BIS! It has attunement, plagued strikes for a heal debuff and a 3rd perk of your choice which obviously goes to Smite as its hands down the best perk ever!
With the shield you want the kite shield, tho in the future this may change ;). The staggers, cd reduction armour etc all help to make this the best shield choice atm. You will want refreshing move 100% as you don't have it on a wep but the other perks come down to taste. For me I like healing defence and Mortal refreshment (-10% cd reduction on kill) but you could take another wep perk and refreshing, then drop a piece of Azoth crystal armour for another PvP track heavy set piece like the legs/head to then have 3 Refreshing and 3 Refreshing Ward. As I say tho I like the 300-400 heal on block as it can offset some dot damage and mortal refreshment is juicy! Each to their own.
Heartrune choice comes down to you. For solo play I enjoy Stoneform but will use the new "monkey" Runestone as it's been dubbed for group/war play from time to time. Again tho I see this build as a pest and in heavy the damage is already lower than in med/light so Stoneform really doesn't lower it any more than you would think and being able to constantly harass a healer or ranged is overall better.
SKILLS/PERKS:
Some people will wonder why I don't use Happy Flails and the simple answer is if you're trying to auto after landing a flail skill then you're allowing the enemy a chance to break free from the cc chain you can employ. I will heavy after skills on healers to make sure they get the plagued strike debuff and have reduced healing but usually only if I know there's others attacking the target. Otherwise I prefer Spikey Impairment as we attract a lot of attention and just by being hit or blocking a hit someone takes dot damage and is weakened up to 3 times! That's 30% weaken for free for just being hit!
Leader of the Pack is just great all round as you get a damage boost or others around you do. In any scenario that's just good all round!
Weighted Superiority is huge for cd reduction and as already mentioned we want to min our cds as much as possible so this is a must have perk!
Vital Suppressant is just a great tool to make us tankier for longer and when paired with Reinforced Vitality for a bigger health pool and Mitigated Protection you're just tankier for longer.
With the sword this is our damage and our ability to buff our grps damage so Leadership is a must for ourselves and others.
That's 1 hell of a read, I'm sorry haha. But any questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them. I will be uploading a medium version of this build as the damage it can do is insane.
Thanks for watching!
