I have played this build in wars and was in the assassin/flex grps. Granted I haven't played NW for a bit so the meta has probably changed but with tweaks I could see this style being good still as a disruptor or some other style of harassment to healers/backline or Even as a point player but again it would need tweaks to talents etc.

​@@skarfang8257 I optimized my build with occult damage +2% on each piece of my equipment. I also play as a disruptor in war but in heavy it's not easy to follow a guy. in any case if you optimize your game as a disruptor I would be delighted to see it, I have to manage to optimize my damage while tanking

single stat food is best, either stat just as long as you split the stats evenly to attain the 300+/300+

Sadly I'm lost to WoW Classic Season of Discovery! but in this medium build I was using the Artifact boots, round shield only had a3 shirking bits and the leeching ring which was/is op and very underrated. Stats were 150 con 300 str and rest into focus. It was a WIP build and it did get alot better, ALOT better.

On a break atm as WoW Season of Discovery is a lot of fun!

Just add/subtract till the stats even out and then add increments of 10 to each till you're at the desired amount.

ngl fella I haven't been on NW since WoW released Season of Discovery. I'll get back to it soon just atm classic feels like a new mmo with all the new skills and changes etc.

The short answer is yes I really do prefer the heal on block for my playstyle. But if others try my build and change it up then that's great to! I love being able to stoneform, remove all debuffs and movement impairing effects, (dodge) pot (dodge), and barrage through people as they hit me adding more health to an already increased health bar. Just comes down to playstyle and preference.

I mean when has New World had *balanced* PvP? 🙃

It is indeed the same build, tho gems in armour have changed up a little. S4 will bring about a lot of fun to this and many other builds as long as they don't break anything else in the game lol.

I tested many heals and I'm sure that was 1 that didn't proc the ring sorry.

Each shield type reacts differently with the flail. Without going in depth the long and short of it is kite shields add stagger to Smite, reduce our cds, allow us to have refreshing move on the shield and so on.

Thoughts on using Michael shield instead of void darkplate?

If you don't have the Chest then the tumbles make for a great substitute but if you don't have them or don't like them then you could use the Michael if you prefer, though I think there are other armour options better again.

@@skarfang8257 I have the chest, I just thought the life steal + perks on the Michael might fit this build nicely. Biggest downside is losing Refreshing Move

@@Nein1one I do know some people love the Michael and use it all the time. The debuff removal on block is super nice and it pairs up nicely with skills like Barrage because you're blocking as you move. For me personally I prefer the chest piece, the armour boost is insane and to good to lose. But that said give it a go, you may prefer it over the chest :)

"best 3rd perk" comes down to what you want in your playstyle. Personally with the rework to plague crits and how easy it is to reapply diseases it means Invig becomes pretty much useless for removing that debuff now, tho still good for others. Vigor is kinda meh, I mean if you or anyone enjoys this perk then great but for me and my playstyle its a no. The conditioning perks are really good but they are also dependant on what you come across more of, i.e. thrust is pointless if you deal with a lot of FS users or bruisers. Health perk is over rated (especially the price!) as having 2kish extra hp isn't as good as damage reduction or a 10sec 4k heal from SH, unless you play with a healer in a grp. Then Health is arguably better than SH but not as good as a 2nd damage resist perk. The best setup is dungeon farmed from Mutation Savage/Depths and so on as you can get 2 defence perks from the same pool on the armour. But thats farming and aiming to get good perks at 700 gs and I'm ngl the game isn't that fun to make me farm the same content again and again to get the perfect drops. For me the set I run allows me to be tanky and self sufficient enough that I don't need a healer, if I get heals though I am extremely grateful! As I always say any heal is a good heal and next patch that's going to be even more true 😆

@@Nein1one its not so much that they'll be changing SH again (though I do think they will adjust it in the future). I was referring to the gem changes and how the scaling will effect weps with int or amber gems in them. All weps will be viable to play with a lifestaff which means any heal you get will be a good heal ;)

When crafting in the kiln the initial craft will always have a random 3rd perk sadly. Just pray for a good perk that's usable till you get the chromatic seals to change to what you want.

Thats actually not that bad! If not using the Butcher then a sword with plagued crits is a priority in my eyes, that healing debuff is savage!

This is after the nerf (balance) to shirking heals.

Farm or craft the armour at the Gypsom Kiln and then change the 3rd perk at the kiln for shirking heals, Tonic of Tyrannis is the mod.

Balancing the stats is really easy with magnify as you can get a 50/50 split by just adding till both stat lines pair up and then add the same to easch stat there after. If you're spear/sns then ideally you SnS should be your tanky bar whilst the spear is the dps side. So leaning more into the right side tree of SnS will alleviate a lot of tankiness issues. My tanky bar is the flail whilst I dps on SnS so my flail perks reflect this in making me tankier.

You are of course right! Forgive my brainfart moment haha, but yeah any of those perks or a Conditioning perk like Thrust/Slash/Fire would be good.

On the Flail probably not as its a slow light attacking wep. On the sword it would be nice. I bought a cheap Plagued Crits/Keen/random 3rd perk sword and found its better played in a group situation. I play solo a lot so the Heartrune generation from bleeds is to good to lose. If you do play in a group or want to try it out then aim for a Keen/Plagued Crits and either Attunement or Leaping Strike! be prepared for salty messages tho!

How about the PVP sword of champion Pen Backstab/Vicious/Plagued crits ? Would that be a good option too@@skarfang8257
