If you don't already know when it comes to motorhomes...Newell stands in a league of its own. Made to order built from the ground up to the customers specifications, they only produce around 30 coaches a year to a price of over 2 million dollars. No stone is unturned and the craftsmanship is unprecedented! It was really cool to see how they get built and the attention do detail at every step.
Huge shoutout to Josh Snider for taking us on this factory tour!

Wow! what a wealth of information, it astounds me the level of detail, craftsmanship & commitment from these guys. The liberty coach video you made a cameo in 😀 was a beautiful coach. I'm liking the no slide look there's plenty of room in them. A 2005/2006 Liberty/Newell are amazing coaches with plenty to offer without spending a million dollars or more. I know the car building is your passion but you're onto something here people are tuning in because you're doing it right.

When you see how much labor, time, engineering, and materials are involved, it gives you a greater appreciation of the high cost to produce. Prevost conversions, Newell, certainly at the top of the food chain. We have a Wanderlodge. It stacks up very well with anything on the road. Thanks for the video Stapleton. I really enjoyed this one.

Been in the RV business for or 30 years back in the eighties I always talked about building in a fire suppression system but all the manufacturers were like nope too costly at the age of 18 i was designing front and rear caps with aerodynamics in mind here in 2020 i see a lot of Fifth Wheels car haulers motor homes burning down and all they have inside of a motorhome is a cheap little fire extinguisher I always talked about putting in a fire suppression system in a motorhome similar to what they use in drag racing now I work in the field of rebuilding floors cabinets you name it we even remodeled Bret Michaels motorhome the lead singer of poison and restoring Airstream travel trailers The Outsiders made it look rough from the 60s 70s and soon as you walk in everything is all modern LED lights flat screen TVs motorized sound systems i don't miss them fast pace production lines back in the 80s we were doing a hundred and twenty class A motorhomes a week 6 days a week 15 hour a day.

I also worked on the assembly at General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio back in the late 60s. They were pushing out 66 cars per hour, 9-1/2 hours per day and 6 hours on Saturday. Everybody was exhausted. No thanks to that any more. Restoring craftsmanship in the US as opposed to mass production and planned obsolescence will be difficult until the consumers demand it. That's why Newell exists - because that is what their customers want. Sure, it's pricey. But it's also priceless. Look at those guys - those craftsmen - there at Newell, who take pride in their work. Look at the years in service - generations of families work there. You just can't buy that these days. You just have to be lucky enough to find it. Thank you, Newell,

I don’t mind that it’s not all made in America, what I do think is awesome is that they do in-house training for tradesmen careers. Tradesmen are an important part of any society. Excellent video and those coaches look beautiful.

You'd better not say Miamee. It's Miam-uh. I remember seeing someone driving a motor home chassis on the interstate, in the rain, wearing a rain suit because they didn't have a cab or windshield. It was somewhere in the southeast USA about 20 years ago. Looked like they drove them from the chassis builder to the RV manufacturer.

However we dont see 6 AGM 8D batteries and twin 4000watt Trace inverters often lol . 98, but still very impressive when you look under the skirt for systems on these big 'ol 55,000lb rolling toasters.

Thats the problem. Yes, they are "American Made". They put underpowered engines in to keep the price down and electrics that look like they were from the 60s. They do not tell owners that you have to operate those engines in the upper part of the rev band to be efficiant, yet they don't because they want to conserve fuel. They are not petrol engines. You can't do that. You lug them all day and they will coke up and the rings will glaze and all sorts of nasties happen. Then they fail and there's warranty disputes. Nah...buy a house instead.
