If its your first time to hear about Tainan-ese style cooking (and not Hainan-ese), then we are together! After a great hunt around the area, Li and I are walking to a family restaurant about 40 minutes from our hotel. Staying in Taichung, there's absolutely no shortage of wonderful looking places to explore, and tonight we are in the mood for some fish!!
Thank you for getting excited with me about some new flavors and cooking styles, I can say that this is honestly one of the more memorable meals of our entire month in Taiwan. I love the clean flavors, I love the quality, and we can ALL love the affordable cost of tonight's meal (not that Taiwan is "expensive" exactly, but its just a bit more than where we live in Thailand...).
