I actually dont think this video did GI justice. His fend (stiff arm) is probably the best the game has ever seen. He's flat out special!

Dope video. Greg Inglis was & always will be one of if not the greatest Indigineous player of the 2000s/2010s. Shoutout uncle GI for giving indigenous kids like to me a change to dream of becoming a pro

Inglis was a weapon! Also one of the best indigenous brothers ever. Aboriginal lads are the most talented and skilled players in the game. Equivalent to American indians. He dealt with a lot of racism like a lot of indigenous fullahs. People hate because our culture carved the game up!

GI is a fullback number 1 but in Origin for the Maroons Billy Slater held this position. You definitely need to check his highlights.

6'5", didn't know they stacked "special" that high!! His signature celebration was the goanna crawl after he had put that ball down. as recognition of his heritage, Australian Aborigine

One of the most dominant fullbacks in the history of the game. I personally don't think his defensive ability is talked about as much as it should be (compared to his stiff arms and crazy toughness and speed), an absolute nightmare for us opposition supporters
@baccycones7644
@baccycones7644 4 ай бұрын
He’s closer to 6’5 than 6’4, 231lbs, faster ever recorded speed in the nrl. 40kmph I think Usain Bolt recorded 44kmph. This highlight vid left out all his big hits and his origin highlights which are some of his best.

We had another indigenous player , like Inglis, but just before his time. A guy called Mal Meninga. He could run like Inglis. He may have been just a bit bigger too. The scary part is, Meninga used to be a cop. He's one mother you don't want chasing you down the street.

6:18 context of that was he saved a 40/20, the other team would’ve gained a scrum 20 metres from the try line if he hadn’t saved it from going out.

This was the last team Greg played for The mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs. He was inspirational to all the young players and gave all he had in every game he played. He has played for Australia and State of Origin, Melbourne Storm, He only recently left Souths after being offered a place at The Tigers under the coaching of Benji Marshall (another legend) Souths management team really need to be thrown out imho. So Benji has him assisting with the young indigenous players at Tigers. Greg is so loved & respected by team mates and our young kids. i love your channel Dar.

Greg Inglis was legend for the Queensland State of Origin side but I believe that he was actually born in Kempsey NSW and played his first schoolboy football for Hunter Sports High here in Newcastle NSW. Another one that we let slip through our fingers GI was certainly one of the best on the ground whoever he played for...

To think Storm had a player named Slater who was so good, Inglis had to move positions for him in the rep teams. Storm also had a player named Cronk who was just as good as Thurston and had the same type of game and a third player Smith who is better than both
