This game gives me PTSD as a Texas fan but I can’t lie my jaw was literally dropped when I saw this dude come out and torch us the way he did as a true freshman. I thought that I could be looking at the potentially most talented qb I have ever seen. I will get to tell my kids someday that I witnessed this dude’s origin story live😂

This was one of the greatest College Football games I've ever watched. Something about the Red River Rivalry and bizarre endings goes hand in hand, and they seemingly mostly go in Oklahoma's favor especially as of late. If ever there was a rivalry where the term deus ex machina is used more than any one, THIS IS IT!

Im watching this after Rattler finally got drafted, along with the documentaries with him in HS, tough adversity, they said he slid because of the HS stuff in that QB1 show plus im figuring GMs did talk to teammates about his personality and attitude but some things stick with you even if you do mature, but all you have to do is get in the league and and make the most of every opportunity,

These teams are going to have such a hard time in the SEC. Maybe not Nebraska hard, but 6-6, 5-7 every year hard. You have to question Texas the most. They were the #1 team in the SW Conference, the #3 team in the Big 12, and now #7 or 8 in the SEC. I suppose they'll be good at Golf in the SEC. Football, Baseball, and Basketball not so much.

I’m not a fan of either school but I don’t see how it’s a forgone conclusion they’ll both struggle there. They’re still two of college’s biggest programs and just by being in the SEC, will have new recruiting pipelines opened. They might not dominate like they used to be but they’ll still among the better teams in the SEC.

You do realize OU out recruits everybody in the SEC besides Bama (which won’t be an issue after a couple of seasons) and Georgia. Texas has out recruited all of them the past two cycles

Bob Stoops left Lincoln a team at the top but Lincoln didn't care about a defense as time went on Oklahoma got worse but Lincoln got money hungry and went to USC whereas took Grinch and Caleb with him. Venables tried to talk Caleb to staying but he and his dad Carl were about money and Brent chose to look to Dillon Gabriel and Caleb threw a fit.
