I definitely could not tell watching in real time, but after watching in slow mo, I could see it. What Boeser did was take his stick and put it between the legs of the Vegas player at the last moment and tried to put his opponent off balance by lifting into the back,of the knee. He really goes for it too. It’s not your typical hook. You have to watch closely even at slow speed to see what he did. it was pretty good as sneaky efforts go. Can we all just say Arturs in undefeated. From Abbotdford a couple hours to Rogers Arena. Probably the longest ride for him. But he was ready. Hmmm...6ft 3 1/2. Hmmm....a European Ken Dryden. @Seriously_Unserious

Looking like the sleeping giant that is the Canucks' offense is finally waking up, just in time too! Arturs Selovs had a rough start on that first goal, but showed poise in bouncing back and making some big saves after that to buy the boys in front some time to make the comeback, and locked it down to protect that lead once gained. He's looking NHL ready at least in the short term. Whether or not he'd be able to keep it up for a full season or step up to take No 1 role in the event Demko should go down again is yet to be seen, but this is very promising for a year or 2 down the road at the very least. And Connor Garland, living up to his name and decorating the Vegas net with more pucks. Gotta love it!
@SirLionofBiff

That's the best thing about hockey. It's unpredictable. I mean it can be fixed only so much by the refs if it happens, but that's it. No one can predict how that puck or if the puck will end up in the net.
@Seriously_Unserious
@Seriously_Unserious Ай бұрын
@@martinleegad5868 The fix was bad enough to determine the series outcomes in 2009 and 2010 in Canucks v Blackhawls. The Hawk's game plan? Get Byfuglien to set atop Luongo while Sharpe or Kane would tap the puck in the net Byfuglien emptied out with his overt goalie interference! The best part, NOT ONE CALL for that by the refs! They even started doing that crap again in 2011, except Mike Gillis called the NHL out on it and created a massive scandal and the refs had no choice but to call the last 2 games of the series fair. Canucks took it in 7 but would have swept had the games all been called fair. The other kicker is the moronic Canucks fans actually blamed Luongo for not making impossible saves while being sat on by 250 lb Byfuglien. No goalie can make saves when they're being cheated that blatantly. Why blame him for something that was so obviously not his fault and that he had no control over?
