There have long been whispers of what did and didn’t happen all those years ago at the Nickelodeon lot. While conspiracy theories, blind items, and deep dives through old content typically pointed the finger at one key member of production, there was a lot more going on. The new explosive five-part docuseries Quiet on Set has made what allegedly happened behind the scenes at the network public knowledge.

AND THEN, once he found out what did happened. Uggggh. I cried for him. 😭 I have 4 sons and a daughter, and I can't even imagine going thru what his dad did. I've been SA'd myself, so I understand and feel that, but from a parental side, I'd probably lose my mind on the offender and feel so so bad for my baby knowing there's nothing I could do to make the memory/hurt go away. Studios that have child/teen actors really do need to be cracked down on to make sure they aren't being neglected or abused. Like seriously NONE of those people who had an offender record should have ever been working around kids to begin with, it's shocking that they just weren't doing background checks on the adults to begin with when they had kids working on set. All of this has been a huge problem for FAR too long, reform is long overdue.

There's no way they didn't know of his charges, especially with the fact he was working with children. Every bit of this is sick but the one that’s REALLY sticking with me is Ariana saying “Can a teenage girl drink water upside down?!” Like they wrote her to say “teenage girl” instead of “Can you drink-“. They REALLY wanted to make it known she was playing a teenage girl for more than likely the creeps that those were written for.

These people defending this monster after he literally pled no contest, are all disgusting! I would not be shocked to hear that some of them are doing the same kind of stuff. You cannot be complacent to this kind of thing and still be considered credible. None of these "testimonies" hold any weight. I hope they are getting their share of heat for defending a predator that idolized Gacy. Just disturbing

I paused to read James’ letter; but overwhelmingly of it read that he was not victimizing the predator but instead tried to persuade the judge and jury that this was a good person deep down but… I don’t know; writing that whole letter AND sitting in court with him put you on the list of celebrities we don’t like as a collective when dealing with these situations

What happened to drake was awful and should never happen to anyone! But we can’t forget that he also groomed a girl and allegedly assaulted her as well. A lot of people are doing the same thing to that poor girl those miserable coworkers of drake did with their letters. They betray their bravery for speaking up about their predators and neither believe nor help them get their justice. It’s disgusting.

2 things can be true at once. What drake went through was absolutely horrific. However, people seem to be discounting his SA charge of that 13 year old girl. You can feel bad for someone and still hold them accountable for their past actions.
