As a soldier myself you guys have no idea how incredible this actually is. I know soldiers who have trained every day for years and don't break 550. To get a 598 (should've been 600) on your first try is one of the most impressive things i have seen in my life. Thank you for doing this. If i wasn't convinced you're the GOAT I am now!

@@daveaglasgow yeah the army is moving towards more of a CrossFit type fitness standard and focusing less on cardio. 13:30 should be easy but it’s harder than you would think after doing all that other stuff first.

I was in the Air Force back in the late 70s, early 80s... Back then our physical fitness requirement was to "run" 1.5 miles in under 14:30.... I was at my max weight for my height and constantly harassed by the Squadron Commander from our Orderly Room, (if we go to war, everyone is going to be waiting on you) he was a 2nd Lt., probably only a few yrs older than me... We ran the annual event on a 1/4 mile track... This chubby kid ran it in just under 9 minutes and posted the 3rd fasted time of all enlisted folks in my unit... on my last lap, I lapped the 2nd Lt, I quickly grabbed a cigarette from a friend, and was smoking it next to the start/finish line as the 2nd Lt ran by with one lap to go and cheering him on... you can do it!! A few days later at Commander's Call, I was brought up on stage and given a 3 day pass for a top 3 finish..... He never harassed me about my weight again... lol I hope their standard has changed, cause 1.5 miles in 14:30 was way too easy, you could probably walk it in with a fast paced walk...

Amazing job Nick, it shows you are a world class athlete and your pursuit of fitness keeps others motivated. I'd like to give props to the Soldiers in the video who also did the test. CPL Gabby did amazing, she would be on the high upper end of the spectrum for female scores. The leg tuck has been the event that has destroyed the most Soldiers. I'm not sure what kind of demonstration the Soldiers gave you on the pushups, your arms are supposed to be completely straight out to the side on each rep so you did not meet standard on that event. Excellent job nonetheless!

This is really the armies combat fitness test now? That’s pretty cool. When I was, and I went in 2003, it was sit ups, push-ups, and a 2 mile run.

Don't waste your money on the immune boost supplement if you have a balanced diet where you are already getting your recommended nutrient intake. I highly suggest exploring if you are already getting your recommended nutrient intake before even considering throwing your money away.

Damn 60 hand release push-ups in 2 minutes is insane.

@@mythai05 regular push ups and this aren’t the same. Regular pushups is a core and chest workout, this is a shoulder and chest workout. You should try it. Best I can do in 2 minutes is 40 and the last 5 were extremely difficult to finish in time.

ACFT is easy to pass (in fact, easier to pass than the old test), but damn near impossible to max. You really have to combine Cardio and some strength training.
