2B crying broke me. I’ve never felt this way from a game in a very long time. What a masterpiece.

That moment where she’s so overcome with emotion and just weeps, simultaneously only being allowed to express herself because of that very sadness that both defines and breaks her. Quite poetic.

Fun fact: Eve was voiced by Ray Chase, the guy who also voiced Noctis from FF15. So yeah, Noct became a bot and climbed out Adam.

8:55 An android's sense of death. Very curious. I was always confused when they show concern over death. I mean, aren't their lives just like video games? Death is just lost progress. Reload, do it all over again. Why mount rescue missions like the one after the huge sea goliath, when their memories are preserved? The materials, and functioning units are valuable sure. But at some point, risk/reward may prompt them to just self destruct and 'respawn'. "But you'll lose you. The you that exists at this very moment." But here 2b seems to value each 'playthrough' or instance as something unique and irreplaceable. Like a soul or a hidden essence. Eventhough, she would still see 9S tomorow, like nothing happened. There's also the resistance mechanic guy I think, who echoes something similar. He's afraid if he replaced his broken leg, he would lose his 'self', since it was the only original part left. So on, so forth. What do you guys think?

Only just now getting around to playing NieR but I think I was a taaaaad bit over-leveled for this part (I was level 44-45) and I melted the boss too fast and didn't even get the floating platforms segment. Thank you for uploading this so I can see what I missed out on lol. I'll hold back on future bosses when I'm that over-leveled.

The credits began early for me, just as 2B was raising her blade to skewer the machine head. A sudden cut to black, but the sound was still playing, so I had to formulate my own mental image to go along with what I was hearing. This looks far better than what I had imagined. XD

The ending here with 2B and 9S is still my favourite part of the game. There's something about it that is just so perfect to me, the perfect culmination of everything that had happened up to that point, paced and directed beautifully. My least favourite part is the beginning of route C because it goes from basically where we are here, at the end of a beautifully told part of the story, to instantly in the middle of a war going on. The pacing goes through the roof for no reason, there's no real bridge to that point, and the rest of the game goes on like this. It introduces A2 in what is a pretty short part of the game and we barely do anything as A2 before the end of route C is upon us

oh man 6 years already passed. time surely fly fast. I only finished route a and stopped. 6 years later after I found no other game to play then thinking of replay nier automata but continue where I left off.

How the fuck does a robot suffocate?

You know if the game would have faded to black, and began rolling credits, right at about 11:15, and saving what happens after that for Route B.. it would have had WAY more impact.

when i finished the game without doing side quest, upgrading weapon, forgot to put even a single chip cause i thought that it would automatically be on use when you have it, forgot to upgrade pod and its skill, and forgot to help emil and goes straight to finish the ending A with 99 small recovery in 2 days. My friend : *YOU FCKIN IDIOT!* *THIS IS NOT SPEEDRUN!*

Game logic gravity doesn't exist in the game. (Look at the part where 2B was choking 9S just focus in her hair.)

For some reason 2B looks a bit similar to Kirumi Tojo, a character in the game "Danganronpa V3" as the Ultimate Maid.

Why was 2B even upset as if he'd actually died? They established at the beginning of the game that their minds are backed up on the base. All he would have lost was a few hours memories (the same as at the beginning of the game) before being put in another body and it's a mechanic of the whole game that if you die you go into another body and rescue your old body.
