The newest character in Under Night In-Birth, Londrekia, introduced with UNICLR in 2020 and also one of the easier characters to learn! Londrekia's switch color reminds me of this vampire named Clio from Beyblade Burst Evolution.

NihongoGamer just wondering if you have gone through Chronicles Mode and Arcade Mode in Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [cl-r] to know the story of each character.

Yeah that's the case for me too. I am trying the whole cast so far in order to pick a main. Also watching Chronicles and playing Arcade to connect the story and have some context on the characters. I played Enkidu, then liked Merkava, then Gordeau, but loved Akatsuki's combos more than all of them. When I was about to choose him I ended across Wagner, Phonon, Nanase, Londrekia (found them really easy, execution wise) and Byakuya and still can't decide. One day.

Quick question I'm looking forward to possibly getting the game but which version do I buy late (ST) or (CL-r)?

If u buy ST on ps3/vita it can’t be upgraded, but if u buy ST on PS4/steam it’ll automatically be upgraded to “CLR” but you’ll still have to buy the new character and color packs separately if u want them. Switch version is CLR.

Is Waldstein like a grappler+zoner type? He has so much range.

He is somewhat of a hybrid zoner/grappler

yeah, but he also lacks mobility. doesn't have a run, only a small dash

He is a grappler, enormous normals are the uni standard. The real zoners are Hilda and Vatista. Waldstein's huge normals are all balanced by the fact they're super slow and don't net much reward from far away.

One of his grabs is techable to make up for crazy range of it and although he has a projectile its used to wall bounce enemies closer instead of distancing so he still has a similar gameplan from normal grapplers. Ive never been into grapplers but he is a very good one.
