Im afraid that as a 50 year old whos been playing fighting games with arcade sticks for 30 years that it might be too late for me to acclimate to a totally new control paradigm for my fighting games.

I recently became an 8bitdo fan i bought like 3 m30 fightpads for the xbox/PC and two regular controllers from them and i would also get this stick even tho i never used one but there's one problem: fighting games now are garbage and not worth it.

these types of controllers are not even marketed in eastern europe where i'm from , i can't buy them even if i wanted to and i definitely don't want to order directly from their website and wait god knows how long for the shipment across the planet , i'm waiting for 8bitdo to manufacture one of these things so i can buy it from my local online store, i'm a big fan of 8bitdo

It's weird how the only thing I cared about was whether the controller had full haptic vibration support or not, and that alone made me decide if I wanted the controller. It wasn't even covered in this video (I don't think) but I went ahead and decided it didn't after not finding any specifications to say that it did and that alone made me not get the remote. Guess I'm stuck with the underwhelming 2 back buttons on the DualSense Edge. I heard that aim controllers have the haptic vibration support, but found it difficult to confirm.

i have the K63 wired (red). I really liked the LED lights which are very bright. Unfortunately 1 LED broke and while trying to fix it I damaged more so that one is over and done with now. I like this blue color of the wireless a lot also. Can it be used in wired mode by keeping the keyboard plugged in all the time?

Why couldn't they put like 6 buttons on the front of some extras on the back or shoulders? I would've loved to try this but it doesn't cover anywhere near all the functions.

Wow you can change the battery easily. The 2DS XL has to be partly disassembled, there is a risk of ripping cables, and the battery is held with a piece of adhesive. Horrible.

Been using leverless controllers for fighting games since the first gen Hitbox (had the multi console version), and this is the first time I've thought about buying a controller that isn't a Hitbox. Brand loyalty and all that... Now if I can just get my hands on the Cammy version, all will be well in the universe.

Depends where you come from and your income, for us it is like a month of 'snack' budget from ipad air 256 to the cheapest M4, I think it worth the price, I agree I want something that I am excited and proud of, if I bought the air one I believe I would always thinking there is another better model in the market and a bit sad about it..... (I am using the ipad for netflix and youtube, now start a bit drawing but totally not related to the industry)

Just ordered mine today. Pulled the trigger. I experimented with a leverless with keyboard keys, however those buttons are too close to one another. The Kitsune will make me feel more at home with their button layouts

I bought this after watching your review. I was surprised by the fact that this controller supports no other game but the famous pricey fighting games. Most of the cheap PS5 arcade games are not supported at all. It works only with the SF6, TEKKEN7/8 and a few other games. Don't expect full compatibility at all on PS5.

There are some moments of expansion, or what I've heard on a company I worked, the moment of create new clients, because they need to begin bringing new people to just expand and then bring back slowly the difficulty or mechanics, those who stick are going to stick and others are going out but there's an expansion of players (I see Tekken doing it) and the other is our player base is getting older (lol but true), and if we stick just with them we are going to a crash, but I get it the whole thing. But hey Tekken is doing it the right way, getting people's attention, then bringing slowly more challenging things for them and some of them would become fans of it.

Man, i wish I found this Arcade Stick earlier. I did some research for a friend (he wants to switch to Arcade Sticks) and this one seems perfect. Almost to good for its price. Not that I'm not fine with my HORI Alpha... far from it but the F700 seems pretty amazing. I think beginners should get this immediately.

Just got mine in the mail with specific instructions to make it a mirrored layout. Mine arrived in normal layout despite my several interactions with the "manager" about my specified instructions so as not to get mixed up. I hope they can give me my refund or send me what I ordered in a timely manner dude. This thing is waaay too expensive for them to mess up an order like this...

Pretty cool. If we're talking performance, I'd rather have a Kitsune. Optical switches means no debounce delay, faster actuation/adjustable actuation distance, and smoother action in the switch itself. Moved to an optical keyboard, and mouse (buttons), and I will never go back to standard mechanical. A thinner controller is also nice for slipping into a backpack, plus it simply being the epitome of ergonomic options - excess height means, either, "wrist extension", or constantly-engaged shoulders. If performance wasn't as important, I'd actually go with a stick. Just because they're more fun, IMO. Playing arcade/arcade-style games with a stick is just a good time.

The Famicom one makes more sense than the NES one (not the SNES :P), as the Famicom actually had a keyboard add-on for "Family Basic." Of course, 8bitdo is making even more versions for the C64 and the IBM Model M. I honestly wish the system It's worth remembering that both the keyboard and the Super Buttons have hotswap compatibility (both 3 and 5-pin MX-compatible switches), meaning you can switch to a heavier or lighter keyboard switch. I personally recommend Kailh box navy switches if you really want the super buttons to have some heft in your buttons. Honestly, I wish 8bitdo would come out with a full layout or 1800 layout version. I'm kinda getting tired of every cool keyboard being a small toy keeb.
