A one pot dish pasta dish that’s bursting with flavor!
I learned this recipie from an old Jamican friend that’s my dish I always bring to a party!
So I thought I’d try it out in my speedi!
All you need is
Bob Marley
1lb of pasta shells/ penne
4 cups of water (for cooking pasta)
1lb of shrimp peeled & deveined
3 chicken sausages chopped
3 tablespoons of jerk seasoning
2 green onions
3 bells peppers (red, green & yellow)
2 gloves of garlic
1 cup of heavy cream
3/4 cups of vegetable broth
1 cup grated smoked Gouda
Set you speedi to steam for 3 mins and add your pasta & water. When it’s cooked drain & set aside,
Coat your shrimp in 1.5 tablespoons of jerk seasoning and chop your peppers & green onion in thin slices.
Put your speedi to sear sauté mode lvl 5 and add a cpl of squirts of oil.
Add shrimp & sausage to the pot and cook for 4/5 mins until shrimp is turning white
Remove shrimp & sausage and set aside. Add a few more squirts of oil & add peppers onions & garlic. Give the veggies a good stir to get all that seasoning from the bottom mixed in let it cook for 3 mins and add remaining jerk seasoning.
Next add your heavy cream & vegetable broth stir & bring to the boil.
Slowly add your cheese and stir in until til melted.
Finally re-add your pasta,shrimp & sausage and give a big ole mix!
Leave simmer for 5 mins or so to make sure everything is heated through and mixed up well.
Plate up & enjoy!!! 🇯🇲😋
