With BEVs IMO there's no more reason to build front wheel drive cars! ;-)

Front wheel drive is more forgiving of mistakes for 99% of the population who don't slide the rear around every corner like all the rear wheel advocates seem to imply they do

My 13 year old daughter told me yesterday that she's not going to learn how to dirve an ICE car. A BEV driving licence is enough.

On Blake's point about Legacy Auto's inertia to "do the right thing" - I have long thought now that they would have never gone all-in to BEVs, but for Tesla, and perhaps China. I believe they would have gone down the Toyota H2 route, from Hybrid, Plug-In or otherwise, through H2 Combustion to FCEVs, giving time for the technical issues of H2 infrastructure to be worked out in between - all provided by Big Oil, of course. But Elon Musk and Tesla blew that comfy trip to smithereens and China gleefully jumped on board that BEV train. They really have gone all-in. And Legacy Auto and Big Oil have been left floundering somewhat. With Toyota still protesting that H2 is still the way to go, despite a token BEV or two, and Big Oil interests still taking every opportunity to spread FUD about the electrification of transport.

Thanks for sharing that Andy! We've a long way to go, but at least there's some really promising developments out there!
