Love this song too! Such an iconic bass line !! One of the best bass introductionary parts to a song EVER !!! Speaking of Krist I noticed there's a profile pic of yours here you and perhaps your wife took with Krist ? (I can't tell the year and sorry if it's not the case at all). Would you like to talk about it (how you met Krist and what did he say?) coming from a die-hard Nirvana fan would be interesting to hear. I also replied to comments on your other videos you can check them out as well but you're not forced to do anything only if you want to. Stay safe! :)

Karl M I’ve been very very lucky and have spoken to Krist 3 times! Twice at FairVote events, and most recently after a Giants in The Trees show. My profile pic is from the most recent time, my wife and I went to Washington State to see Giants live and to go to all the Nirvana locations. I got star struck all 3 times, he’s my favorite bassist and a founding member of the band that changed my life so it is quite the thrill to met and speak with him!!

@@NirvanaGuitars How awesome is that!! Wow bro you're really really lucky ! How was Krist? I might be wrong but having watched countless interviews after Kurt's death in my view something broke in Krist's appearance I mean he still is a witty, highly intelligent man but during the Nirvana days Krist was the one who used to cheer up the moments, make jokes and be the most talkative person it just seemed like he had a lot more fun back then based on the interviews/videos I've watched he's grown to be a lot more serious I think Kurt's death played a major role in it but I could be wrong did you notice the same thing when talking to him? Overall, if that's not a secret what did you talk about - anything Nirvana related?

Karl M I am very lucky, my memories of talking to him is something I’ll always treasure! I promise you he’s still as witty as ever. The first time, I asked him to sign my Smells Like Teen Spirit vinyl single. He said sure, I handed it to him and he said “oh thanks for the gift!!” And walked away with it haha. This was at a FairVote event where he was the featured speaker, I asked him what time he was gonna speak and he pointed to his bare wrist (he was wearing no watch) and said “couldn’t tell you, my watch doesn’t work” 😂 this was in 2012, so I asked him if there were plans for an In Utero 20th Anniversary Boxset and with a huge smile he instantly said “oh yes! There will be one!” He seemed really excited about it!

I would really like to know what these pickups are for the Ibanez bass eagle bass, as they have a very characteristic Nirvana sound, this pickup must be something different, I'm thinking that it could perhaps be noiseless, stack, as it has a lot of sound humbucker, right???
