One of my biggest regrets in life was not getting to see Nirvana live, but Kurt died when I was 14 and I missed my chance. However, I was at this show, and it felt like a little part of my heart healed that night. Thanks Dave, for making this happen.

I get the feeling that Kris is forlorn doing this, he gets into it a bit more when Joan comes on but the connection is gone for him because Kurt isnt next to him and that was what nirvana was about. It's not the same and he seems quite reluctant to do it which is understandable because he probably had the closest connection with Kurt with Dave and Pat joining later who clearly love doing this again. I think its bittersweet for him, he almost looks lonely up there, he knows what hes expected to do but he just cant bring himself to do it. I feel for him. An amazing bassist and a man truly affected by 1994. Much love Kris Novoselic

Dave's an awesome drummer. Love the power he plays with. McCauley did a really good job. Googled him and his band sometimes does sets as a Nirvana tribute band Deervana. Good choice picking him for this. He definitely knows the songs/material. Obviously there's no replacing Kurt but as a one time thing this was pretty decent. Seeing Dave, Krist and Pat playing together again was really cool.

If you see him at about 15 years old, he always had a guitar. He picked drums up because, in his first band, pearled came in and just did the infamous rap beat. So Dave bought a drum set and learned how to play, but fast. I have seen a video of him at about 17, on a drum set killing it. Sounded so rock, too. Great work, Dave.

I had a gig with my band that night but I really wanted to go since it was rumored they were going to get together and I live about 20 miles from where the festival was. A couple of things; first, as a California native, I would like to apologize for the decadent display of the fans concerned more with social media recognition instead of actually taking in the moment. Secondly, although I was not present for the show, I am absolutely thrilled and honored as a Californian that they decided to reunite here in California!!!
