Alright chief, new to your channel hence the late comment. A little tip for excess silicon is to give the area a light mist of soapy water and you can just wipe it away with your finger. Also drain holes and most holes through the hull or transom if you give them a lick of paint before sealing it can help if you do get a little water ingress. Smashing series though👍

I always add a 2nd bilge pump and 2nd battery which I move to a location forward of the transom.

I’ve been thinking of fitting two of everything, bilge pump, gps, radio. one on show an maybe one behind an access panel for emergencies

What are those other wires in your 'well'. Is that for you batteries as you are storing them there too?

Awesome and helpful tips very nice job loving the boat restoration series been watching your videos on repeat there really helpful cause I’m also rebuilding my first boat. I was hoping that maybe you could do a more in-depth video on how to wire your gauges for etec cause the manual isn’t that in-depth. Thank you and keep up the awesome video’s 👍

Glad you like the video mate! Yes the gauges are a little confusing but reading the manual and tasking your time does get the job job! My original gauges were not working so all aftermarket gauges were used :)

Thanks for watching mate! yes your 100% correct, it will wear the seal out, but for testing the bilge running for a few seconds wont hurt it :)
