Jordan finally picked up the nitrous kit for his Trans Am. It's full installed right now, but he's going to go back and make a few changes soon. He'll be adding a blow down tube, a new fuel pressure gauge, etc. This is just a temporary setup to get it up and running. We'll have some test hits on the nitrous coming soon. Thanks for watching!

I was totally psyched when I logged on to utube and saw there was a Trans Am update. Looking good Jordan!!!! Automotive/racing NO2 has sulfur dioxide added so people will not use it to get high, it will irritate your lungs if you breathe it better to be safe and vent it outside. Looking forward to more updates, Thanks.

I put that same kit on my 454 really couldn't tell much difference even at 150 shot. I finally put a 300 shot plate and started out at 185 shot now you can feel it. It's like a big difference from the 150 Shot but not sure why. So much a difference I'm not going to push it anymore💪

When I saw nitrous I thought: Hope the bottle doesn't leak or its DUI city - but of course it's a different type. On another note I was feeling old when I thought this car felt contemporary. 1987 - that's almost an antique - like us.:) Cheers.

hey man i was just wondering since i am looking to run a 100 - 150 shot on my falcon as well.. it looks as though you have just tapped in to your existing fuel system?? is that what you have done or did you run a separate pump? i got a 140gph electric pump and was hoping to just tap in for now thanks

Yeah, the Trans Am should scoot along pretty well now. Of course, it's all relative I guess...there are a lot of 1,000+ HP street cars rolling around these days. Jordan has already gotten his money's worth out of that bullhorn :)

ahh, screw the 1000+ HP street cars, those things are next to impossible to drive anyways. I've actually heard many times through just about any kind of car owner that after you break about 600hp you just can't control it. thats also about where even performance tires just stop working. Jordan will have way more than enough power to rock the hell out of that thing!

That is true, you can only use so much power on street tires. Besides, Jordan is at a level now, that if he increases the power much more, he'll have to start over and go back through everything in the car again...beefier trans, 9" Ford rear, etc.

I always wanted to put a 572 in something and one day I got that chance and I hope I never have to do it again LOL. Its a wider and taller engine compared to a 454 it takes up alot of room lol. Seriously though that TA is looking good! Take Care Thanks

I've been trying to make my mind up on that for a while. I really like the laced factory rims but i was thinking some 17" rims of similar appearance, black with a chrome lip may look cool. -Jordan

Just curious on a couple things on your build . What cam are you running ? and what trans? seen the b and m shifter and got curious .

It's a dual pattern, flat tappet cam from Howards Cams...108 degree LSA, with 231 deg In/ 236 Ex duration. The trans is a 700r4. We just recently installed a fully built 700r4, with a 3600 stall converter. We will post an update as soon as it gets a little warmer out.

It has the 89 Turbo Trans Am rear with 3.70 gears. It's a bit stronger than a 10 bolt, but you're right, it's going to need a built 12 bolt or a 9" Ford eventually.

I know this vid is old but you can use a throttle position sensor with a relay to spray after you enable it with the toggle, that way you're not trying to keep the car under control with one hand,,,,,

I eventually upgraded to an NOS controller. This was just the least expensive and most rudimentary setup at the time.

@@RamblinAround yea I'm using a Zex controller it connects to the vacuum line in the intake from the fuel pressure regulator solenoid. Supposedly it can make sure your fuel pressure is where it's supposed to be depending on which jets are installed on both the solenoids in the controller. I haven't had a chance to test it out since you know the 2 feet of snow in my driveway lol!

There's nothing dangerous about shifting under nos If you're that worried just do a nos safety sensor that has to have a minimum throttle, rpm, and fuel for it

A fact in most if not all states is nitrous in a car falls under open intoxicant law. Like driving with a open beer next to you. Only a ticket unless your actually fucked up.

It has long tube headers and dual exhaust with 2 1/2" glasspacks. It's the camshaft that makes it sound so mean. Thanks for watching!

On this particular setting, it should be about 430 - 440 WHP.... but that's just an educated guess. He needs some dyno time to get it dialed in.

You can legally have nitrous oxide in your car in the state of Illinois. The only type of Nitrous that is illegal to possess, is the medical grade that people use for inhaling purposes.
