Great review! Have you tried the micro84? Does that solve the wonky arrow key layout? Or do you suggest just going with the 87?

This seems like a pretty legit functional %60 keyboard. Something that you'd get for what it is without really trying to put different keycaps and whatnot.

I can say that I own this keyboard and have been using this for a couple years now. Keyboard feel is great. Software works but isn't the best looking and doesn't require to be installed or always on. Screwless design is... eh, but you only open it up to switch domes. Keycaps are great. Bluetooth works great on windows, but with catalina there have been some repairing issues. There can also be a few bugs in the firmware when trying to pair a new device when already connect to someone on bluetooth.

can I ask you a little bit about the comparison of this NIZ key with the HHKB, which ones do you think is more silent? because I'm really considering about topre switch and this EC switch, I'm also tried this NIZ once before and I feels quite nice even when I bottom out, so which ones could you recommend? thanks for your response =)

Hello, does the keyboard only work with the touch of the finger, or can only the conical spring trigger the capacitive sensor? I would like to alienate the keyboard and build it into a control panel for my hobbymill behind a glass panel. That's why the question.

I am currrently using Majestouch Minila air. I love the keyboard, but I was wondering whether there is a much lighter mini mechanical bluetooth keyboard which I can carry more easily (don't think I can use 40% keybaords). Side length is fine but I wish it is thinner and lighter than Minila Air. Your recommendation would be very much appreciated.

They also sell 45g versions of all their boards, and they also manufacture 55g and 65g dome sheets you can buy. I'd also recommend getting the Nano75 over the atom, as it's a standard 60% layout with an F-row.

i've got the plum 87 and love it but really want a 60%. this is closer to what i want, but has weird keycap sizes and layout. i just want a regular 60% keyboard with ec switches, so when that is made i will be ordering straight away.

The smaller spacebar on this version sounds way better than versions with the bigger one. So much better that its worth dealing with the smaller keyboard layout/spacebar and backspace bar.

Wdy think of this compared to the hhkb

I know a direct comparison can't be made here, but with ''weak tactility'' are we talking MX Brown level weakness or worse? I know this is top of the keystroke tactility vs almost midway like with MX Browns, but I'm still curious.

What is the battery life on this one?

Just ordered myself a TKL version of this board. Very curious to see how it faires. The only reason I did so was curiosity and the fact that my last and current Ducky board both developed a chattering spacebar within absolutely no-time. I'm thinking I'll probably have to replace the domes with a 55g sheet later down the line though.

I just got the Korean aluminium-housed version of the Niz Plum 87-key, called the Archon EX. I highly recommend it, really a step above any other keyboard I have tried.

There is one annoying issue with this keyboard. It's right shift is shared with up arrow by default i.e. if right shift is pressed alone it is up arrow, otherwise shift. Pressing right shift and Tab doesn't produce a Shift+Tab combo. The workaround is to disable this feature and use either right shift or up arrow.

Something to remember is that macbooks have a 5u spacebar - and thus many mac users are very very used to using their left thumb to hit the command key. The biggest issue I have on a standard 6.25 keyboard is my instinct to use my left thumb causes pain since I have to rotate my thumb much more. Because of that I have actually just flipped the option and command key on my mechanical keyboards, but I am definitely not as fast getting to that with my pinky finger. I wish companies started doing more 5u size spacebars since so many people are used to that layout from laptops. I agree with them, it is more ergonomic, and I think they should have somehow figured out how to use a 5u spacebar instead of 4.75. I think that layout, if picked up by other brands, would be phenomenal. The alt, ctrl, windows buttons on a standard layout are really only accessible with a pinky and it is way slower than using a pinky for ctrl and thumb for command

Niz keyboard is extremly competitive to Topre/HHKB, but Niz switch is very soft. Niz 55g = Topre 45g, Niz 45g = Topre 30g.

Please check out the Ajazz ZN. It's a board I haven't really heard of but on the Banggood page it apparently comes with Cherry MX switches. *Edit they also say it's a an all-metal board with aluminum and zinc.

Rubber dome keyboards are underappreciated. They are quiet, soft (so fingers do not hurt) and great for bottoming out people. Shame I have a trouble finding good rubber dome keyboard in TKL

even though I like the look of this layout as its very compact and organized, its pretty stupid. you dont need two function keys, you dont need a dedicated Tilda key, as that could have been space for a 2U backspace, and wtf is the point of having 3 out of four dedicated arrow keys, thats literally the dumbest idea ever on a board...and this is the only less than full layout on the planet that has both a backspace and delete...once again stupid decisions. this layout is the least efficient I've ever seen, how did they approve of this

Don't buy these keyboards. Sometimes the keys don't work. I think even the trashiest, cheapest keyboards I've bought have working keys. This thing costs ~200 dollars...
