Hey! 😀 I had a lot of fun making this no-budget short film with my friend Tiago Shoots! This behind-the-scenes video is the result of a lot of hard work I had to show in detail my entire process and all the nuances that this short film required. Let me know what you guys think!

@@AOJOPhotography Thank you so much for your positive feedback! I really appreciate it! Those "neon" titles are a pack that I got on storyblocks... Here's the link to the pack: www.storyblocks.com/video/stock/fcpx-creative-titles-hcpitlyv_kmnr29o2 Storyblocks has different versions for different softwares, so make sure to buy the one for your editing software of choice. All the other titles, I made them myself! Thanks for watching!

Hey Vitor, I am a regular viewer of your videos, I recently had my first cam G80 based on your reviews and following your suggestions to make the best out of my shots. I am inspired to make a short film, but I dont have anyone that would be helping me but still I would give my best try! Thanks again so much for the detailed explanation and making it easy for newbies like myself 😊

Thanks for sharing this video. I'm looking for used GH5 or G9.. GH5 seems better for filming but what about stabilization? Also even buying used camera + used lenses + all other things... not cheap hobby :) Unless I will start even with cheaper camera (invest more in lenses)? ps. what are good source to buy used gear other than mpb in Portugal?
@MJDreams
@MJDreams 10 ай бұрын
I also wonder if G85 (G80) wouldn't be even better to find budget for gear (other than camera) as I saw some nice cinematic short movies on that. in the end begginer need to work on story, composition, etc.

@TsvetanVLife
@TsvetanVLife 2 жыл бұрын
I started 3 years ago with Panasnic GH3 (and i still love Panasonic, but i needed camera with APS-c sensor). Fuji X-T3 is a great camera for video and pictures. It has a few cons - no IBIS, no flip out screen and it has bad battery life (this one is easy to solve with external batery). So far the Fuji is doing great. I use it every day for my projects such as music videos, product videos and photos. Great colours (Fuji are masters at that). If I stay at that system next one might be X-T4 or X-T5 (if it's on the market). But if i switch systems my next camera will be Panasnic S5. I had a chance to try it and it was more than great (only thing it was not so good was the autofocus, I still use it for shooting myself). And i think that Panasonic are the most userfriendly cameras if we talk about menus. THe best thing is that we can choose from many great brands. Mine favorite so far are these two Panasonic and Fuji. :) I hade a chance to use Sony cameras such as A7M3, A6600 or A7SIII... great autofocus and lowlight performance, but I don't feel like it's for me. ANd from time to time I shoot with Black Magic 4K... great cinema camera for Indi film creators. :)
2 жыл бұрын
@@TsvetanVLife that's awesome bro! Thanks for your insight and for sharing your experience with these cameras! I always love to hear what other professionals think about different pieces of gear! Sometimes I also think that it would be nice to have a camera with a bigger sensor, but when I start thinking about all the investment that that might take, I change my mind in seconds 🤣 But still, I love my Panasonic GH5 and G7, and as of right now, I don't have any real reasons to change cameras... Would be very nice to try out the Fuji though! Maybe one day... 😎

I immediately cringed when trying to listen to your final result. Your audio mix is off. I'm an audio engineer, and this is my Tip: when mixing background music with a voiceover- you want to make sure your music isn't too loud, as you'll quickly/easily BURY the voice- the most important part. Here's how to do it: When mixing, lower your playback volume all the way down, then barely bring up the monitor volume so you can barely hear the audio. If you hear MUSIC instead of voice at the lowest possible level, then you need to lower the music in your mix. If you hear the voice instead of music, then you're probably nailing it. Also, play your final mix over a smartphone's speaker, play it in your car and play it on your TV where you watch for entertainment. (sometimes the chosen music has deeper low-frequency/bass that will drown-out the dialogue)
