I think the bigger red flag is that they're not giving codes to ign at all, even at launch

Easy fix for knowing if a game is bad I've been doing this the last two years. 1st DONT BUY THE GAME ON DAY ONE. 2nd Wait and let a streamer to buy and playing 3rd Make your option if you will buy or pass. Follow these three steps and never get burned again by shit devs.

With wb's quota of live service games batman no mans land would be perfect for that new villains they have plenty to use for that comic since it took a couple of years plenty of stories in that arc.

The moment you said, that suicide squad killed the justice league, lives up to its namesake I was like well, not really gonna buy this game. Because that’s really upsetting for a guy who always wanted a Superman game in the Arkhamverse or a Flash game. To know that two of your favorite characters would die in their first appearance to this great universe

This game should have never been in Arkham universe only doing it for sales is sad and this game is most likely going to get a bad reception because of how they handle Batman and how they handle justice league the only thing they might do is reboot the universe and continue the Arkham verse after origins hopefully

When it comes to ANY game, I always form my own opinion. If I were to listen to other people's opinions, i would have missed out on some great titles such as Biomutant, RE6 (bad resident evil game, but fun game overall imo) and a few others. I'm looking forward to the game, and I just hope this isn't other Hogwarts Legacy kind of situation to where people are pissing their pants and harassing people for simply having fun at playing a game. I respect those who don't like the game, just don't go after those who have fun.

Great view and content from you Kwing this game will not be good and it will fall flat. SSKTJL should not be connected to the mainline Arkham universe and I wonder if the game will be gone like Marvel's Avengers live service game. Im not saying they're trying to dodge bad reviews, but it's definitely not a good thing when your game was already getting heavily criticized. I wasn't going to buy the game to begin with, but if I was thinking about buying it I certainly would NEED an assortment of reviews before making the purchase. Why would I have any interest buying the game right now with what what we've seen and what's already been said about it?

I hate that they brought Joker back. He looks weird and has a crappy voice. I wish we got Mark Hamil to make him somewhat tolerable. He looks like the Jonkler from the Arkham Subreddit. I wish we could get a singular Arkham game without Joker?

I like that it is connected to the arkhamverse what I do not like is that they don't give you a choice between saving the justice league or killing them which would've been a cool concept because it would bring up the possibility of multiple endings like in one ending where you kill them that is the bad ending because the justice league can't help you beat brainiac thus you lose and in the other ending where you do save them the justice league can help you defeat brainiac thus you win and get the good ending I can't really think of any other ending ideas beyond this so if anyone has any ideas let me know in the replies

I think they aren’t giving review copies because their single player aspects are shallow and short. They are banking on their multiplayer live service model to carry them through. The reasons for not giving review copies are never good if you like a good single player mode. It’s clear through the marketing that they are focusing on the road map. Any interest I’ve had has declined.

The concept of "ragebaiting" doesn't make sense to me. Sure, it gets people *talking* about your product, but if they're talking about how much they dislike your product, then they won't be *buying* your product. Wouldn't they want your money more than a bad rep?

Hm, fair, really unfortunate, i really hope things doesn’t turn out as bad as it seems.

I do not think fans of the Arkhamverse are scared of a departure from what we've had, but when it is a departure this drastic, it feels alienating to the audience. It is like Rocksteady isn't in tune with their fanbase. Also, the scale of this game scares the hell out of me. We have never seen any justice league member before. We have only heard of some characters and cities. The closest we really got besides mentions was lex luthors voice messages in Wayne Tower. Not only are we about to kill the justice league as someone other than batman, but we are about to explore the multiverse. That is a MASSIVE pill to swallow for most fans, especially some of us hardcore fans. I'm scared of some of the story. How will they handle batman coming back? It really shakes up the ending of Arkham Knight and how emotional that moment was for fans. Also, King Shark in lore... as far as I am aware... is dead. Also, Deadshot has been an entirely different person across 3 games and a movie. Rocksteady has also been known to make trends and not chase them. Arkham was so different and unique, I am not trying to discredit this game, but a lot of this gameplay is boring. Most traversal looks like it might be great, but they really creatively crippled themselves with the gameplay, especially with DLC characters. Everyone has to have a gun, no matter what. That's fine for some characters, but if they add killer frost or killer croc, I want to use them for their powers, not to upgrade their guns and just have their traversal be different.

Whatever the reason that Warner Brothers has for holding back review copies, I’m holding my money until I see some reviews. I’m in no rush to buy this game anyways, so I can wait.

I was shocked to see that Suicide Squad kill the justice league is only 45gb. That’s smaller than Arkham Knight. Suicide squad has a bigger map than Arkham knight. It must be because almost all the missions will take place in the open world and there will not be many interior locations like in the Arkham series but I don’t know.

This game will be The Last Jedi of the Arkham series. People who don’t know the characters very well will likely love it. People who know the character very well will hate it or think it’s ok. Everything I have seen from the game makes me want to play as the Justice League.

Rocksteady should probably take some pointers from insomniac thts a company thts been listening to their game base n not tryin to be tooo money hungry they r atleast tryin to balance wanting to make money, but also wanting gamers to enjoy the game n keep coming back for more n we fall for it bc they make something we enjoy n r gonna love. I don’t see tht here at all I see nothing marvels avengers but In a different universe with better cutscenes n a bit more detail. On top of the same missions of just protecting something n battling the same stupid enemies the only semi variety is the boos fights only good thing to come out this game is the cutscenes n hearing Kevin one last time as our Batman💯

They put it in the Arkhamverse to create controversy??? That’s ridiculous. They started the game with undermining its popularity with its main marketing strategy. What they did do was underestimate how salty gamers would be.

Almost every game that has refused beta testing and early game review testing has hit the ground really fast and hard and disappeared into the anals of bad video game history..these games to me have less appeal than a rank ladies mackerel hammock.

Honestly I am just waiting for the game to release because the red flags for the game are just piling up and to frank it's going to be a average game at best or a complete disaster at worse. But don't get me wrong I am glad the battle passes will be like Halo Infinite where you can still get it even after the next one are out and offline mode will come but not on launch day unfortunately.

U are right! A new game need to also have haters, so people will talk a lot more about that game. I really think WB did it on purpose. They are not stupid, even rocksteady knows; marvel avengers fate. And still they makes a super hero live service game. U think they are stupid and want to go down this road? They purposely did it so that everyone will talk about it and hate it. AND when they suddenly put out surprises when it launch (that's why there is no early reviews code), tons of people will want to find out even the haters. This is marketing. Other online games have given out early review copies, Diablo 4 gave review copies 2 weeks in advance of the early access start date, according to Game Informer's review in progress. WB has also given out early review copies to journalists for games like Hogwarts. The reason people say this is bad is because in most cases, it's to hide the game's faults to keep preorders, because like you said, people are paying $100 instead of $70 to get their hands on the game early. Would they still preorder if reviews say the game is on average a 6 or maybe 7? Some would keep their preorder but some would likely cancel.

I mean lets be honest here. This game has gotten nothing but hate since its announcement and then the journos kind of trashed the alpha where a lot of players who played the alpha praised it. Maybe Rocksteady is giving this to the fans first to figure out if they like it or not before the journos trash it witb hate bias. Doubtful of that but i wouldnt blame them at this point.

Can’t wait to play it for myself. Gameplay looks fun and I may even play multiplayer with a mic.

When the poor reviewers fail to mention game common breaking bugs, still score a broken game 7 or 8 out of 10 so they can get the next franchises review code, I can't say I have sympathy for them. Paying twice the amount to play test a game is so common place, if blizzard couldn't make it so you got split screen coop early access its quite clear it's a big joke. A company that big with that much money did not manage to have their poop in a sock for diablow h IV release. I also love reviewers who did not play the game didn't play multiplayer, they played a closed network test, and said closed network test worked but in real life matchmaking was broken asf. There seems to be no standards or quality control in the gaming industry. No set requirements for a reviewer to test to, no mention we never got to play multiplayer, we only played the beta the same as the players. No transparency. Oh well.

Sweet Baby Inc writing and twisting the Arkham Verse. All the leaks were true, Miller Ross is a shill, the story and gameplay are absolutely terrible. There will be a fakeout of either the JL is clones or from a different Earth but the story is insanely bad regardless. I watched all the cutscenes and I feel I should be paid a settlement for the atrocity committed. Every single boss fight is so uninspired, and each death scene besides Wonder Woman is uninspired and shrugged off so haphazardly. Shame on Rocksteady, for this insult to Arkham fans and letting Sweet Baby Inc manipulate it. Rocksteady isn’t the same studio with Sefton and Jamie gone.
