Great interview! I worked at a Blockbuster in Santa Monica in early 2000s and he was a semi-regular. I recognized his last name and asked if he was related to Mel. When Noel told me Mel was his pop I was star struck! Lol Noel is a super cool dude and seeing him here is just as I recall him when we would chat! He gifted me 3 framed personalized autographed looney tunes 8x10s for xmas in 01. I prize them today just as I did in 01. Thanks Noel!

This makes me so happy. I could listen to these stories for hours. When you mentioned the interview at Big Bear, I didn't even think of Noel Blanc. Mel Blanc is so important to entertainment history. A part of all of our childhoods. He was the best, and will never be topped. Thank you for this.

I spent a lot of time in Big Bear as a child. My grandmother lived there. Elvis was making Kissin Cousins and my grandmother was a waitress when he came in for a meal and she got his autograph for me! Elvis Presley actually wrote my name! I was always fascinated by that! Haha. Sorry to get sidetracked! I always thought Mel Blanc was one of the most talented people of our time! I loved hearing his son's stories!! Great vlog!

Met Noel when I was a teen in the late 80s. We got to hang out with him for day, and at his house on Rodeo Dr. Mel's Edsel was sitting in front of the house. I remember Barbara Bush called him while we were at lunch, lol. He was very nice and down to Earth.

Mel was also the voice of the raven in the coo coo clock during the first season of The Munsters. He used his parrot voice for the character.

Adding...People in coma’s when spoken to have reported to me that they recalled hearing what people were talking around them, they kept their minds going while in the coma by replaying memories, thoughts or focused on what they would do once they came out of the coma. Some people in a coma, once awaken their voices have changed and their mind has transitioned them into different people.

Bravo !! best interview ever !! I could listen to these stories all day. Great job ,I didn't know about the body cast , amazing both father & son went through devastating crashes at the same age & both survived to tell about it.

What a fantastic interview - great job, Jordan! I loved Noel Blanc’s stories about his dad. I knew the basic cartoon characters that Mel voiced, but there were many I didn’t know about. Hey, Jordan, you sat in Elvis’ chair - cool! 😎 Eagerly awaiting Part 2.

Wow this was great and I just loved the stories Noel told. I grew up listening to stories like that because my dad was in the studio industry. I have pictures of Vincent Price and my dad because people really loved him and Mel Blanc. Great interview Jordan and I can't wait to see part 2.

It's great the way you are interacting with Mel's son, and it's just like we're standing beside you and we're part of the conversation/visit! Wow wow wow, blanc jr. you are awesome also and never forget that, I was born in 1964 and I grew up listening and loving and trying too imitate the voices of the caricatures that mr.blanc delivered so eloquently, so thank you and your family for all my childhood memories,I wouldn't trade it for the world.
