DEA Agent Michael Banks (guest star Bailey Chase) offers Det. Nyla Harper (Mekia Cox) a job, which she turns down, but she wouldn't say 'no' to dinner. Meanwhile, Officer Nolan (Nathan Fillion) can't help but feel bad about the fate of his C.I. and gets an offer from Sgt. Grey (Richard T. Jones) he never thought he'd get. So glad they dropped that bs with Grey harassing him. It flows so much better when Grey supports and respects him. As it should be. There better be a 3rd season!!!

I think Grey stated his reasons in the first season to the captain, it goes something like young rookies can be shaped in anyway but older rookies think they know everything and will get his people killed. To be fair he was right but glad we are way past that now.

@stillatin They did drop it around episode 3 of the first season, because it wasn't working. It's works better having Grey have his back not trying to stab him in it. Plus character development happens over time not 2-3 episodes.

Federal agent pay can be great if they calculate overtime pay. My only problem is if you are sent on an assignment that puts you away from home for three weeks you are not paid for all 24 hours in each day but only the hours worked.
